BIOGRAPHY:
Armande Ocheron is among the First Order's finest scientists and an expert in the field of Kyber crystals and their applications. Born on Christophsis, he was attracted to the study of energy fairly early on, from its 'creation' to the myriad of uses. From a young age he displayed remarkable intelligence and acuity, and was chosen along with other "prodigy" children to become the next generation of great thinkers, scientists, and engineers.
Armande studied crystals and how they could be used to provide and focus energy, and while he studied everything from the crystals of his homeworld to lava crystals from Mustafar, none showed more promise than the legendary kyber crystals used by the various force cults in their lightsabers. Working with research done by the Imperial scientist Galen Erso centuries ago, Armande was able to engineer wondrous inventions powered by energy focused through kyber crystals.
At some point after graduating, Armande found work as an engineer for the Republic, but was left on his own after it collapsed. He was at one point captured by a crime lord who wanted to use his research for his illegal endeavors, but he was rescued by a team of First Order agents who wished to recruit him to their cause. He eagerly accepted, happy to belong somewhere again.
For years he continued his work diligently, left to his own devices aboard a science vessel, but then the Sundering happened. The First Order was ravaged by the Ssi-Ruvi Imperium, and his science ship barely managed to escape destruction. The Sundering shook Armande greatly, and this coupled with his experiences under the crime lord made Armande a very paranoid man, always afraid of someone wanting him for the knowledge he possesses.
