Armor Color Change

Was wondering if anyone would be kind enough to help me with re-coloring a set of armor for future use by the Empire of the Line.

I was hoping to have the red in this image shifted to dark grey-green, if possible. Also, if anyone is up for it, if someone could get rid of the gun strapped to the guy's back.
If anyone could help me with this, you will have a very happy pirate in your debt!

When you click on the image it appears again. At the bottom of the latter image is a Save button. This will bring up the image direct-linked in a separate browser tab. From here you can Save As, or use that link directly (although the file might move someday).
