Arryn "Ajay" Jhanson
"Freedom Enduring"
Background:
Arryn Jhanson; also known and commonly referred to as Ajay, was born on the Outer Rim world of Lirra; There he was raised by his Mother, Sarah Jhanson and his Father, William Jhanson. Life on Lirra was fairly typical for Arryn in his early years, going through schooling and receiving an basic education until his teenage years where the combination of getting involved in the "wrong crowd" in his parents eyes, and that age old want to rebel against everything (as all teenagers do), began to get him in trouble with the Law."Freedom Enduring"
Background:
Despite his parents often discouraging Ajay from hanging out with the group of friends that he had come to know, the boys all took to an early life of drinking and getting into fights and other sorts of mischief in and outside of school grounds. As a result of repeated meetings with the headmaster and Ajay's tutors, the young man was eventually expelled and instead sent to attend a military academic institute in order to "pull him back into line", from the age of fourteen, to his early twenties.
Needless to say, Arryn hated every minute of it, yet also discovered military life to be quite natural for his temperament and so spent a couple additional years investing in his enthusiasm for firearms and vehicle mechanics. As fighting between the nearby Order of the Silver Jedi broke out with the Mandalorian Empire however, Arryn Jhanson was informed that they would be sent to the front-lines in order to support the Silvers. Upon hearing this, he withdrew from the institute, claiming that he had no wish to fight and risk his own safety for the sake of do-gooder's, he otherwise had nothing to do with.
On the outside, a free man with some worthwhile experience under his belt now, Arryn found himself a steady job working a gig at the local spaceport where he was assigned to the maintenance crew for civilian vessels and ground transportation. It was during these years that Arryn turned his attention to the things that he loved most, and took on a personal project in which he built up his own Drifter Bike and set out to regularly upgrade the bike with his own flair of personal modifications.
Personal Views:
Between the nearby war being waged, and Lirra's own history with Imperialists, Ajay's opinion of the greater powers of the Galaxy's political state wasn't anything positive. Skeptical of what people were prone to do when finding themselves in a position of great power and influence, Arryn had seen repeated reports over the years of government corruption, world's being razed in a bid to rustle them away from other rival organizations, all at the expense of the civilians that lived upon these worlds and wanted only a life of their own.
Seeing first hand what military structure and training was like, Ajay knew better than most what it meant to be given an order and what it took to follow them through. Politicians, in his mind, had no idea of the consequences of their decisions when it came time to face other rival political parties. They often threw away any sense of moral conduct in order to get the best over their opposition, and anyone else be damned. From this outlook on life under a political power structure, Ajay quickly realized the value of personal freedom and promised himself that from there on, he was going to live his life his way, by his own sense of moral code and steering clear of the corporate world, whose potential corruption and disregard for the little people went against the core of his personal beliefs.
Arryn's sense of integrity and moral code can be derived from a basis of loyalty and respect, where if you're fortunate enough to earn his favor, then he will have your back in all situations. Trust and Respect are two principles that Ajay holds in the highest regard, and in those whom he may eventually come to think of as his friends, brothers or sisters, his loyalty will be something they always have. On the other hand however, betrayal is something that Arryn finds despicable and will go out of his way to make sure that the deed is paid in full.
With regards to the many laws of the Galaxy; Rules were made to be broken, however there's also a line that Ajay will not cross out of personal conduct. While he is more than prepared to go against the laws of man in order to earn himself some good credits, when it comes to the abuse of personal freedoms such as slavery, Ajay may not be so willing to simply look the other way but rather enact some personal justice upon those guilty. The killing of unarmed women is also abhorrent in his eyes, an act punishable by equal measure.
