BIOGRAPHY
The sound of two swords clashing against each other. Pain searing in all places. His in legs, in his arms, in his hands. Then a thud. He fell on the dirt, the beskar's blade edge landed inches away from his face. His father stands over him, a snarl on his face as he yells at the boy to get up. He tries to push himself off of the ground. His palms instantly tensed up, due to the pain. He had to endure it all. It was all for the better of him. To earn the title of Mandalorian. He grits his teeth, grabs the dirtied beskad and grabs it off the ground. The weight of the sword felt twice as heavy as it did before. Yet he still grips the leather wrap around the hilt, tightly. He makes The boy rushes his father again. He father smirks, as he gets his stance ready. The boy raises the beskad above his head. And then.. clang! The cycle repeated itself.
Chapter 1 - The Beginning
The beginning of Arryn's life is.. fractured. Bits and pieces of memories he comes to place back at times, to remember what happened at his birth. His mother raised him well during his early years. Made sure he was strong capable. A perfect foundation for whatever is to come. His father had really action in the very beginning. He would watch and take care of his only son. He would use the credits he would get from overseeing a small farming company to support the household, his wife and child. He was a good father. Arryn looked up to his father, obviously. He was an absolute role model. He set the example for those around him, friends or family. Both, really. He wanted the good for his family, so he worked as hard to do so. An overall good person. Arryn's mother is the same way. Sympathetic, hard-working, loving. Just like any mother would've. So, Arryn had a well childhood. He had grown fast, getting more strength as his age grew with each year. By age 8 he was a stable child, strong, his personality formally shaping into the man he will soon become. His father now taking the reigns of his childhood. He took him aside, and the training began. He was put to his limits and was forced to be pushed past them. The hardships of his life started here. He was discouraged easily. His father put him down, insulting the boy with every attempt he got. Arryn knew in the back of his head that this was for him, to help him get better, to help him get stronger. But, he didn't feel it. He thought it wasn't worth it. The pain, the suffering, all for a title? It didn't push him like how his father imagined it would. So his father doubled down. He made sure Arryn would suffer. Long nights up, working on farms all by himself. Days upon days without sleep. He ate on a limited diet. It wasn't until he started to spar with his father when he noticed the strength. How all of the training paid off. After long days of sparring, getting beaten every time, he beat him. He beat his father at sparring. Arryn felt something inside him at that same moment. Victory. He liked this feeling. It gave a sense of pride and respect. Yet this moment didn't last long. His father won the next sparring match after, and the ones after that. He taught himself knew moves fighting his father day after day. The beskad came into play at age 10. At first glance, Arryn thought it was easy to use, to wield, as his father brandished it with ease. He himself had difficulties with the weapon. He had a hard time adjusting to the weight of the weapon. He dropped it every time the swords would clash, his father scolding him and punishing him every time it would happen. The boy let it drop on time and the tip landed right in the center of his foot. His father called it a lesson of sorts. Arryn worked his body to be accustomed to the sword. The swords weight eventually got lighter and lighter, until he could hold the sword two handed, slashing at the blade of his father's beskad and clashing the two swords together without Arryn letting the sword drop. The adept young boy would fight day and night with his father, to grow his skill. This would continue for years, until 13.At age 13, is where his perseverance would be tested. The Verd'goten. The trial of passage.
Chapter 2 - The Verd'goten
Arryn remembers the events of his verd'goten. He remembers it all. It was the moment of his life. The beginning was fairly simple. A month after Arryn became 13, the young boy had started the trial. His father explained the task, exactly the same one he went through all of those years ago. Arryn was sent into a cage-like structure, the boundaries walled off by a fence with an electric wire at the top, not allowing for the boy to escape at all. For gear, he was allowed to use the beskad he had been using for all of this time, also a slugthrower rifle with 10 rounds of ammunition, and compacted food packets so he wouldn't die. His task, to take out 3 creatures and bring proof of the kill. All within 3 days. Arryn took the challenge with excitement. He knew he would complete challenge. He wanted to, for that feeling he got before, the sense of victory. So he set off, into the deep of the cage. The tasks were eventually completed, with a day remaining. A nice feat for the boy. Yet it wasn't over. There was one more task. Arryn would have to fight his father. A battle that Arryn was fearful for. Arryn had only one against his father once. He didn't know if he could beat his father, yet that wasn't stopping him. Instead of his father in his farmer's outfit, like usual when he was working on the farm. He was in his beskar'gam, it gleaming from the sun. The crimson red color of the armor was shined to perfection, not a single scratch on it it looked like. Arryn surely was frightened, yet he didn't let this get the best of him. Now, the face off. Arryn's father stood right in front of him, his T-shaped visor looking directly into Arryn's ocean blue eyes. Arryn stared back, rage in eyes. He was going to defeat his father. The boy gripped the handle of his beskad, the weight feeling familiar in his hands. He pointed the blades tip towards his father, and rushed at him at full speed. His father just stood there, lifting his own beskad in at stance to counter. Then the battle began.
Arryn, bruised and bloodied up, looked at his father. His stance was weak. His father was tired. He himself was holding his beskad at an unusual angle. They had been fighting for the entire day, from sunrise to sunset. The sun was no longer up, as the darkness of night consumed the area around them. Arryn was at a disadvantage. His father's helmet had a night vision module as he had previously found out while trying the beskar'gam on one day. As for Arryn, he couldn't see at least 3 meters in front of him. His father found ways to strike at him. Unsuspected attacks out of the darkness of night, leading to more cuts and blood. And the boy couldn't do anything about it. He was stuck. If he tried to move, his father would've seen it. So he did the most logical he could think of at that moment. He sat there, in that spot. Listening for when his father tries to attack. He would hear the dirt shift, his fathers boots hit the ground in the direction he was planning to strike. So in response, Arryn shifted his stance to counter. It worked like a charm. Every so often, an attack would hit his intended target and strike Arryn, but most of the time, it would be blocked by the boy's own blade. It was a smart tactic, one that would keep him in the ring. He kept this up for a couple hours, which to Arryn this was impressive, but he knew his father was toying with him, to bog down his stamina. Arryn wasn't going to let this happen, so the next logical thing to do, was to run. In an instant, he sheathed the beskad in it's leather sheath and took off, his father following close behind. Arryn knew he couldn't run along fast enough or long enough so his father wouldn't catch up to him. He had taken one of the last condensed food packets and consumed it really quickly. It was some of the last energy he would have in his body for a while. Arryn had a sudden idea. Quick on his feet, the boy turned around, and ran into the darkness, beskad raised to strike. He kept running, and eventually slammed into his father, his blade stabbing right into the center of his beskar'gam. There was a slight crack of where the sword tip ended stabbing his father. His father stopped dead in his tracks. He dropped to his knees, and he removed his helmet. Arryn removed the blade from out of his fathers armor and stabbed it into the ground. His father was breathing heavily. So was Arryn. Arryn felt weak in the knees, he could barely stand up if it weren't for the beskad keeping him up right. His father had extended his hand towards Arryn. There it was again. That feeling Arryn felt long before. The sense of victory. Arryn grabbed his father hand with a strong grip.
The trial was complete.
Chapter 3 - The Long Road Ahead..
Years later into the future, and Arryn has been on his own for quite sometime. After the events at home, he had grown into his own man, had been forged his own beskar'gam and new beskad, and had left the planet he was originally born from, leaving his mother and father. They wished him well on his adventure into the deep fortitude of space. He didn't know what to expect, yet he know just what to do. He used a holopad he had stolen off of a trader on a near by planet to find bounties. And he then floated towards those bounties, collecting them for credits. That leads us here...
