This is totally allowed but you have to get vetted by the SWRP Staff Team first.

Once you do you can advertise wherever and whenever, if ur spamming or annoying people we'll talk to you quietly and privately and help you avoid ruffling feathers so you can continue to do your work/commissions/have fun.

Just please talk to the Staff Team FIRST, you will get crashed down upon if you do not.

I only just saw this question, ill answer it:

1. I dont see it as distracting from the community, art is a way of life on Chaos. Roleplayers are natural targets for commission artists.

2. If I, the guy who wrote the rules, tell you you can bypass a rule, u can bypass that rule. See: President Nixon, “if the president does it, its not illegal”, “im not a crook”, etc etc.

This works because the Admins are the ultimate authority on Chaos, as its our interpretation and articulation of the rules that adjudicates all situations in the community. Like IRL cops, selective enforcement is very much a thing. Its an unfortunate reality of any adjudication involving humans.

Not good for PR to explain it like that, though. People prefer the “nobody is above the law” angle most people take. Anyways, its all semantics, but the important part to remember is articulation. With the right articulation, the legal definition of any law can be interpreted differently.
