"So this is Voss... The planet I heard about a few times before, the place I know little about, the forever autumn-like atmosphere that makes meditation every crying baby's wish and... Some other things I do not care to mention. But that's enough of that I'm supposed to do something more or less serious here so I might as well begin."

Kal stretched himself a little before sitting down on the grass, a few small trees were around him, but nothing like an actual forest, to be expected he wouldn't go deep in the forest for such matters, simply not his way. Meditation was good for the mind and for using the force so he figured he'd start with that first then continue with some fighting practice although there wasn't anyone with whom to practice, suffice to say he didn't give much of a thought.

Finally after scratching all the places that needed scratching or he though they needed scratching, he closed his eyes and remained unmoved focusing himself on the force that would be flowing all around him, different thoughts keep popping up in his mind just as he keeps pushing them away, glimpses of irritation begin to form from time to time as he tries to remain calm, meditation wasn't always an easy thing, the mind is an interesting friend, one that plays with us every day, but he'd certainly give his best no matter what for his life might one day depend on it.

Silently calming his inner self, Kal manages to achieve a small degree of peace in his mind, even if for a little while. He could feel the force all around him, he could sense it enveloping everything. He was, however unable to achieve the result he wished for and that alone gave him a small discomfort, but that was not important, scorning himself over such thing could only do more harm than good. The young rogue was curious just how far he could reach and without hesitation or useless thoughts, the kind that prevented him from achieving his goal in the first place, he managed to dig deeper, feel the force a bit differently, at times it was on smaller degree while... No that's not right, it wasn't at times... But at places. Only now he could understand, this wasn't his concentration faltering, but intensifying, he could sense the force in the living things around him in a more detailed manner as if he could see it. But there would be no image, only the sense, and the sense would be foggy... Shaky... a mere shadow of what it is supposed to be. He kept at it, he tried harder, but it was of no use, he could not bring himself to explore this sensation to a greater degree.

Kal left out a heavy sigh, even if it wasn't a physical matter it was still somehow exhausting. He could not stop thinking about this new strange way of "sensing" It could be what others referred to as "force sight" Seeing the living things around you with the force... Through the force, the way the Miraluka do, he could not be sure of it, it was just a glimpse, but it would make for a good thing to train on, could be useful in the future when things may turn bad and he was willing to bet this would train his sense somehow too.

But that was irrelevant now, his concentration was lost and regaining it would mean going through the same things as before which would annoy him and that will surely make him fail. No point in struggling in vain, so Kal figured it's best to just intentionally forget about all that and focus on some other form of training meanwhile then return to what he was doing just now. When you can't control your mind... Trick it.
