The Asclepius Medical Ship, is designed to act as a medivac search and rescue vessel throughout the Outer Rim. With six beds in two rooms she’s well suited to dealing with contaminated or virulent patients in addition to the usual casualties of battle or industrial accidents. Tending the patients are two pairs of medical droids, intended to be overseen by organic doctors, they are nonetheless fully capable of operating of their own accord.
While not needed, the Asclepius utilizes both solarium glasteel and solar panels to back up and recharge the ship’s fuel cells as well as the emergency batteries for the med bays. The scanners are capable of quickly searching out life signs in a wreckage or a wreckage in the thickest of asteroid fields before quickly moving in for the rescue. Amenities include bunks for two crew, a pair of doctors, and two additional hands or passengers. To facilitate longer searches and inter-system travel, a small galley is situated aft of the bridge and sleeping quarters along with a fresher. Each med bay also has its own small refreshment facilities to avoid contamination or having to move far with injuries.
