- Pharmaceutical Additive: Asellic Fluid, when combined with other substances in various medical compounds and pharmaceuticals, enhances the cultivation of positive bacterial growth and restorative properties of various pharmaceuticals.
- Additive, not Cure: By itself, Asellic Fluid has limited healing abilities and is an extremely low-grade medical substance, at best.
- Storage: Asellic Fluid must be stored in a sealed container kept between ten and five degrees below standard freezing points. The fluid itself will not freeze, by the extremely low temperatures prevent the degradation of biotic material.
Asellic Fluid is the latest biotic derivative for the future to be produced by Ophidian Consolidated. After undergoing years of research, development, and testing, Ophidian Consolidated is finally satisfied that this new pharmaceutical additive will be able to promote real change in the galactic health industry. Created from harvested matter of the Asella plant, an organism that is the bio-property of Ophidian Consolidated, Asellic Fluid is designed to be an additive for synthetic and organic bacta, as well as a wide range of other pharmaceutical compounds, organic and non-organic.
Asellic Fluid, named after the Asella plant from which it is derived, is characterized mainly by its medical enhancement properties. Although by itself it is a rather low-grade medical substance, when carefully integrated into other compounds it rapidizes cultivation of bacterial cultures in biopharmaceutical compounds and ehnances hearing and resorative properties of all pharmaceutical compounds it is added into, regardless of whether it is organic or inorganic. Asellic Fluid is a very viscous fluid, and when sealed and stored at the proper temperature -- between ten and five degrees below freezing -- the fluid has an incredible shelf life. The exact point at which fluid stored at this temperature will have decayed to complete unviability is unknown do to the relative newness of the compound, although studies of decay rates give an accurate estimate of several years.
However, when it is not in a carefully-controlled temperature, the fluid features rapid degradation that in a matter of hours or even minutes severely dilutes, if not outright killing, the biotic matter that makes up the fluid within. Despite that, Asellic Fluid altogether is the next step in both biotic engineering and medical technology, and will enhance the health industry in the years to come.
