PERSONALITY AND BELIEFS
Asher or Ash has he usually goes by is a very outspoken and headstrong young man. His zeal for the Order is only matched by his Reekheadedness when it comes to matters he believes he knows better than other in. He feels that too many of his fellow Padawans are to submissive, that the Master and Apprentice relationship is as much for the Master to learn as well as the Padawan. This kind of thinking has made him considered "problematic" and is why it has taken so long to find him a Master. In fact, his age has been an issue, his training is what he calls a "late bloomer" but what many think is an excuse for his strong headed behavior.
STRENGTHS
Detail Oriented:
Ash is very good at noticing details, when something is amiss, when something at an investigation site seems peculiar, and etc. These skills he has honed as detective in training, wanting to hunt down threats as Guardian who does not simply go to the front, though he yearns for battlefield as well.
Jedi Detective:
He is a skilled detective, often helping in major cases for the Order across the galaxy. He combines his senses with his "agressive negotations" to get results, or as his friends say, "Good Cop, Bad Cop" him being both.
Master of the Krayt Form:
Asher is master of Form V: Shein/ Djem So, feeling that the hybrid form is best for dealing with projectiles and the power form for fighting Sith, since it is one of forms the Dark Siders favor.
WEAKNESSES
Argumentative:
Due to his strong feelings on matters and hunches, he will often argue with seniority, and even get a tad physical.
Risk Taker:
Ash has a tendency to take great risks, leaping out of speeders in cityscapes, leaping on to the haul of ships in Zero G gear, and etc. This often puts him in unnecessary peril to accomplish a goal.
HISTORY
Asher was born on Cloud City, Bespin to a family involved Tibanna gas trade. There in the metropolis poised over the Gas Giant, the young boy began to hear the tales of old, of a Jedi named Luke Skywalker and a famous duel between him and a Dark Lord. He would often sneak with some friends to the spot where it was said the two faced off, and use their metal pipes as lightsabers. Many a time he was caught by authorities and had to be punished by his Father Yacob who wanted him to devout his time to trade school and take up the family business. The Boy's discover of his abilities in the Force was one day when an accident happened down in the factory floor, when an a belt of solid metal broke loose and swung to swipe a Ughnaught away, Asher extending his hands like the stories cried out "please!" And the Ughnaught was pulled from the danger area where the metal belt swung and tore a conduit in half. The revelation that their son was able to call on the Power of Jedi did not thrill Yacob who told him to keep silent about it, and paid workers some extra wages to forget about it.
Asher became frustrated in his adolesence, as his powers began to grow, he was continually told to harness business sense, and help his father in the Gas trade. The Young Man did not want to deal in conveyances, he wanted to be like the heroes in the stories he had, to become a Jedi. It was not a Master that found Asher, rather one fateful night he took a transport, leaving a note for his parents of where he had gone and made passage to Coruscant. He had taken some funds for the passage, and figured this light thief could be made up for if he became a Guardian of Peace. When he arrived at the Jedi Temple, he was not recieved with open arms. His zeal was met with usual method of trying to cool breash youths who thought they were going to be the next Skywalker, after all anyone who studied history knew not all went well with them, one even almost wiping out the Jedi completely.
At Eighteen Asher is still a Jedi Intiate, no one has taken him as an offical Padawan. Masters take him on cases, and let him hone his skills, but his rather argumentative behavior has run off a lot of potential Masters. At this point the Young Aspiring Jedi in his frustration has resigned himself to the fact that no one may make him a Padawan, nor will he ever be a Knight as the heroes he had once worshipped on Bespin were. For him there was no going back, better to be a small leaf here, doing good and being at least close to the legends, than return to his Father and spend his days talking about gas...
