+ Muscular Structure: Unlike other large species like the Maelibus or Herglic the Vaemath, while tall, are relatively small in stature. Their bodies are lithe and agile yet retain an incredible amount of strength. This s due to their unique muscular layout, allowing them to be far stronger than they actually appear to be.+ Thick Skin: The Vaemath have a very thick and almost unnatural skin. This skin is leathery and protective in nature, giving the Vaemath a resistance to temperature extremes, blades, and kinetic impact. This thick skin makes the Vaemath incredibly hardy, even giving them resistance to most forms of radiation. This allows the Vaemath to easily travel through space. When combined with their natural strength, their thick skin makes them the perfect front line soldiers.
+ The White Current: Asherah is an adept of the White Current, and can use Force Illusion and Force Immersion to completely hide her presence from Force based, organic and technological detection, as well as creating full-sensory illusions that are percieved as real by all senses. She can also create Doppelgangers of herself, which she can project her sight and hearing through, although they have no physical form.
+ Space-Walker: Asherah cannot match the masters of the art of Fold Space, but she can transport herself within line of sight up to several hundred meters with ease, and further with effort.
- Bacta Intolerant: For some unknown reason the Vaemath species as a whole is entirely intolerant to Bacta. The strength of this intolerance varies from Vaemath to Vaemath, but the reactions can be extremely brutal. For most Vaemath, contact with bacta will cause them to break out in extremely painful and itchy hives, though after a few days of rest this will slowly begin to dissipate.
- Open Minds: Due to their Telepathic communication the Vaemath's minds are incredibly open to influences of the force if they wish to communicate. If they do not they can cease any and all communication into their thoughts. This make their minds fortresses, however it make them completely unable to communicate with the outside world.
- Picky Eaters: The Vaemath are forced to utilize a set of tools in an almost ritual like process to ingest nutrients. This process is time consuming and limits them greatly. They require a supply of nutrient tubes and an injector in order to actually eat.
- The Chain of Ascension: You can take the Vaemath out of Baratia, but you cannot take Baratia out of the Vaemath. Asherah fully trusts no one she has not bested to her satisfaction and constantly tests the boundaries of any social structure she is in to understand the hierarchy in order to climb it. For some reason, this rubs people up the wrong way.

Asherah is tall for a typical Vaemath, but otherwise unremarkable in a remarkable species, like all of her species she possesses digitigrade legs and an utter absence of mouth or nose, as well as long, almost lekku-like tendrils she keeps tied up most of the time. She would be considered attractive for a female of her species - more lithe than strong, although all Vaemath have exceptional strength, with good skin patterning and a posture that could be described as fluid. To other species, the distinctions are often lost and her legs give her a natural predatory gait.BACKGROUND INFORMATION

Baratia is a world in constant turmoil and conflict and while the losers of such conflicts are treated fairly - the Vaemath are not barbarians, no matter what the uncouth galaxy may say, there must always be winners and losers.Asherah Alilat was one such loser, born with no apparent special talents she would have died early in the brutal conflicts of childhood were it not for her parents high office as Templars to the Archon - loyal bodyguards who the Archon had individually bested in combat, proving that he was mightier and thus both trustworthy and able to trust them.
Still, when she was in her early youth (approximately her 40s) it was evident to all that she was soon going to run out of luck - she was strong, but not stronger than the strongest, fast, but not faster than the fastest, intelligent, but not smarter than the smartest.
But maybe, just maybe she was wiser than the wisest. For rather than face a short life of challenges or a long live of utter mediocrity, she took a chance on the flowering interstellar travel from her homeworld and left.
Things... perhaps did not go so well for her in the galaxy at large and before long she found herself a servant in a Hutt Cartel - a mid-ranked enforcer useful for her appearance and her strength. She fit in well here, for the chain was very obvious. Unfortunately for her superiors - but also unfortunate for her, for a half century old Hutt is a dangerous foe, and her attempt to seize the gang left her broken and shattered, marooned on a frontier planet.
It was here she met the Fallinassi Master (or Mistress), who took pity on the odd, broken, rather abrasive alien woman and patched her together. It was in the company of this individual that Asherah learned she did excel at something - a unique perspective on the Force. She mastered elements of the White Current that should take years in months, showing a natural talent that was as alien as it was unusual. The Fallinassi are peaceful, she lived for competition - although not violence, seeking to test herself. To her teacher, it was as if the alien could somehow sense the cracks and flows that gave her most advantage in deception, illusion and trickery.
When she left that unnamed world many years later, she had earned the right to call herself Fallinassi - taught as she was that authority was an illusion, she set about seeking her desires - which came at quite a price, she discovered. But while crime paid, she had discovered the cost of crime early on and a new idea occured to the alien - why be in the churn, when you can hunt in the churn? Why be a criminal, when you can hunt criminals?
