BIOGRAPHY:
Prologue
--
It is eighteen years prior and the sky is black as the night swoops in, followed shortly thereafter by a torrential downpour. The setting? A small home in which a couple and their two Mandalorian children dwell, yet just outside at the foot of the door. Our subject of interest is none other than a small human child, an infant, left at the doorstep of the Mandalorian home, discovered only as the adult male, Geb Hettir, opened the front door when his wife, Isir, complained about a noise outside. It was on this gloomy night, wet and covered with a black blanket, that the Hettir family took in their enigmatic third child, one which the family immediately accepted as both their own and not their own. The child was raised without a name until the age of two, and then was bestowed with one out of necessity, rather than being given one out of love. It was, perhaps, this lack of feeling that their daughter, known now as Ashi Hettir, began to exhibit signs of disliking and perhaps secluding herself even from her parents, although her older brothers, Jarkiv and Kalikir, seemed to accept her as a sibling would - granted they were hardly older than her to begin with.
Raised in this similar manner for the majority of her early life, as well as her teenage years, Ashi was given a warm welcome home, but there was always an underlying feeling of not being her parents child for as long as she could remember, even before they broke the news to her. It happened to be one day that she confronted her parents, primarily her mother, when she was given the 'news'. Although the revelation itself wasn't quite as astonishing as one would have thought, it was completely unforgivable, to her at the very least, that she was treated in such a manner by her parents - especially with how she was abandoned. Her reasoning was that her brothers cared for her, and they new just as well as her parents did, but their own parents, who took her in and kept her alive, only did so out of necessity, rather than want. Surely if they had found her birth parents they would have returned her, she thought, and certainly they would have jumped at an opportunity to be rid of her. The hardest part, and the most anger-inducing feeling yet, was that while she wanted to be mad at her parents, and justify her anger with their actions, she was more let down and completely livid with herself with that feeling rather than being angry directly at them. To her, it felt like she failed in some manner to grab their attention, even though she knew the reason behind their attitude. And so, at the age of eighteen, as soon as possible for her to go, Ashi Hettir left her family behind and took the closest transport off of her home world, wishing to never return.
