The Denon Academy of Science
Republic Space
The Library of Science. Such a massive circular aerie of pearl and bronze. Wide open and vast. Like a transparasteel playground that vaulted upwards into never ending sky. Yet quiet and hushed were it's volume and even white tone. Here, where every seldom footfall over the glossy marble floor gave a wide echo. A wide wide, never-ending echo. Up up and up, high into the silent chamber. Like a foreign stillness dancing. Dancing up towards the stars. Indeed. Here, in the quiet and great vastness of Denon's brightest halls. Where the warm sunlight filtered down from the glittering sunroof above. There now gathered together some of the newest pantheon of our day.
"Ask Me Anything"
Read the sign nearer the door. The first greetings to the eyes for all the events of the day. And a wild event it was sure to be. For the Holocron of one, Obi-wan Kenobi, was present on the central podium. Eager on the eyes and displayed upwards for all to see.
Standing next to the computer terminals and bronze gizmos & gadgets here assembled, was Karen Roberts of Denon. A tall regal woman of brown hair and blue glittering eyes. Flanked at her side by a teenage blonde in unkempt and disparaging clothing. Her name was Pala Gibson. The Third. A high school rebel in every way. Her nimble rebel hands gliding over the computer's keyboard like the rush from a volcano. Erupting and exploding over the computer console with a flash of zesty smiles and a wizard hacker's brilliant bang.
"All set Miss Roberts!" She exclaimed with a flashing smile, "I've linked the Holocron to every terminal in the room. Yeehaa!"
"So then? It will work then, will it? Mmm. Even with all the people we are expecting today too?"
The regal brunette seemed to doubt as she pulled her arms over her chest. Karen stopping to wonder at just how this was going to work. Yet in spite of her teacher's mischievous doubt, Pala beamed only the grander.
"Heck yeah it will work. I've linked the Holocron to all of the private terminals you see around the hall. Now anybody can access the Holocron with the push of a button."
"Ah. And, good Master Kenobi will be able to have a few many different conversations then, I take it?"
Pala seemed hurt by the continuing mistrust. Wasn't she the greatest slicer the DAS had ever seen? Ha. Oh please Blue? Don't wound my pride any further. Jeez.
"Of course Karen. Duhhh... Like, look. It's just a post-teta crystal spirit-matrix housed inside a bronzium and transparasteel casing. Linked to my fiberwire computer and the Libraries private DNS. All, of course, made possible with made hacking skills and glamours rebel charm! Damn girl. ...Relax. Relax... Everything is golden. Cheers ya'll."
Karen raised an eyebrow at the teenager's quirky nature but had to admit. She had managed to pull it off. This was really going to work after all.
"Very well Pala. I trust you'll made it work. Just remember we'll be having quite a few patrons accessing the Holocron all at once today. ...So? I don't want the connections to Master Kenobi's Holocron becoming overburdened. Or, bleh. Worse. Unstable."
Pala gave a wave of defiance. Didn't ol' Blue know anything about computers? Sheesh.
"It's fine Roberts-lady. Just chill out. See? I'll monitor all of the Holocron's active connections from here. Look, see there? Yep. Anybody who wants to talk to the Old Man now, sure can. In fact. You can have a thousand people all having different private conversations all at once and the network won't blink an eye. Boom! See. Easy as pie. So don't Cali-Sweat it baby. ...I got this. Gurl, I got this."
Karen shrugged. Fine. Not that Pala's strange hipness made it any worse. Whatever. The Neutral Force Master returned her thoughts to the task at hand. Surrendering haphazardly to the teenage woman's superior experience with tech, and Twitter, and such and such things.
"Very well. Mmm. I suppose it's time to open the exhibit then. Better call the boys. ...Grant! ...Ramis!? You two still up there!?"
She called to the balconies. Waiting only a moment for the deep voice of her husband and the mercenary Master to call back from the banisters.
"Yep. Right here Karen! All set up and ready to go here."
"Great. You two can open up the doors then. Pala's got the terminals all ready to rumble. We should be good for the crowd then. All hands on deck! Here we go."
The two giant males on the balcony gave a wave. Both clad in exotic armors and geared for any disturbing surprise. The two men unlocked the Library exhibits doors and ushered the first visitors into the brilliant halls.
"Hey hey! Welcome to the AMA everybody! Come on in!"
The two giant men smiled.
"Yeps. Come on in and grab any DAS terminal you can find in the room. I think our honored guest, Master Kenobi, is already awake and ready to take your questions. Ha. Get it. Awake? ...Oh man. I'm horrible. Haha."
Karen smiled as the wide glass doors finally opened to the public. Turning, she walked over to the central podium and gave a wink to the handsome white cube that remained steadfastly on display. Nodding silently to the silent and vast knowledge of the once wise and revered Jedi Master within.
"Welp. Force help me. ...Here goes nothing."
.....
And they were off. With the AMA exhibit now open. The grand public was able to access the Holocron of Obi-wan Kenobi from any computer in the room. In mere minutes there were dozens of people all having there own private conversations with the wise old sage himself. Even the folks who weren't Jedi or Forcers themselves. Oh no. You didn't have to be a Jedi wizard to talk to this Holocron today. Karen Roberts was keeping the connection open to anybody and everybody who wanted an audience. Just another old Jedi trick she kept in store for emergencies. Holocron Whispering. Heh. ...Who knew?

*OOC:
This thread is a free public exhibit sponsored by the Denon Academy of Science and hosted by the Robert's Ranger Private Military Group. Hosted on the planet Denon strongly inside Republic space.
Your character is welcome to come on in and gleefully access the Holocron of Obi-wan Kenobi at your IC leisure. Indeed. Asking the old man any question that takes your fancy. Heck. Maybe you'll even hear the grand story of the Star War's Movies themselves. Narrated by one of the greatest characters who ever lived it. Woo hoo? Wouldn't that be something, eh? Hehe.
To note. I won't be replying for Kenobi or as the vast knowledge and personalities contained within his Holocron. Indeed. As a canon character? Such commanding narratives are discouraged by our Staff and forbidden by our Top Rules. So go easy with the Old Man's replies and try to keep the non-canon presentations to a minimum. You're welcome to write your character having a conversation with the Old Man. Just keep it classy and stick to canon yo. Thanks.
Last note. The Holocron of Obi-wan Kenobi was written and recorded during Kenobi's long exile in the Tatooine Desert. As such, it will not contain any references to the adventures of Luke Skywalker upon the hermit's party embarking for the Mos Eisley Cantina and beyond.
