B I O G R A P H Y
Asmundr was born before the Graug Plague struck the galaxy. His birth world is Midvinter, where he spent at least 50 years living a basic lifestyle with his Valkyrie people. During these 50 years, he suffered many nightmares and would often be impaired from performing his merchant duties because of intense 'daydreams'. His family scolded him repeatedly for his ineptitude to complete the most basic of tasks in order to survive in their basic economy. Asmundr was confused and bewildered by his curse, unable to rid it despite all the medical attention of the Valkyrie healers and witch doctors. Of course, nobody suspected The Force as it was a foreign concept for them.
On this 51st birthday, Asmundr was on the outskirts of Midvintr, roaming the fields for something new to add to his simple shop for a decent trading price when a ship touched down. He drew his sword to the foreigner, but they bested him with a simple mind-trick -- then informing him that they had felt his visions for the past three years but had been unable to trace his signature in The Force until now.
The Force was the answer to his pain-staking visions.
For the next 10 years, Asmundr trained with this Jedi who showed him the path of the Consular and assisted him in besting and perfecting his visions until Asmundr could access sight into the galaxy beyond himself. His control predicted the Graug Plague, which enabled him to take the actions necessary to isolate himself and survive.
Once the plague was over, Asmundr resurrected his activity when Ben Watts and Teferi Efreet sought out the Jedi throughout the galaxy. Once again, Asmundr returned to The Jedi Order and devoted his life to protecting them with his gift of mass precognition.
When war struck Coruscant, Asmundr was able to escape before the temple was compromised, along with a handful of other consulars and younglings he surrounded himself with. Word of his abilities reach Grandmaster Grayson, who approached him when The Jedi Order was gifted two mobile Praxeums. He was asked to dedicate his life to the protection of the students on board, and steer the ship clear of any Sith in the time of war.
Of course he accepted.
