- Battlefield Range: The 7.62x67mm cartridge is well known for being a long range cartridge as the length of it allows for a large amount of propellant to be put into it and therefore a higher muzzle velocity
- Very High Stopping Power: As well as lending it a longer range the extra muzzle velocity means that the rifle has a higher degree of stopping power compared to its shorter cousins
- Slow Rate of Fire: In order to keep accuracy of the rifle to a maximum a few heavier components were added and this meant that the rate of fire was reduced
- Low Capacity: As with any slugthrower no matter their size and role they suffer from a limited capacity compared to their contemporary blaster counterparts
After finishing work on everything else Noah knew the final thing the elite unit he was constructing would be a long range precision rifle and so he sought out to design it. He took some inspiration from a few sources, including a few old designs and prototypes he had never gotten around to finishing. He decided to chamber it in the 7.62x67mm cartridge due to it being well known as being a long range cartridge in the slugthrower community.
With this out of the way he began choosing the materials to use in the rifles construction. The usual Titanium-Alusteel Alloy was chosen for the receiver and bolt for its strength yet lightweight; Quadanium Steel was chosen for the barrel due to its strength; the barrel was lined with Chromium to reduce wear and tear; the stock, pistol grip and handguard were made of Plastoid to save on weight without sacrificing durability; and lastly the entire rifle was plated in CeramiCoat to reduce potential damage to it.
With the basic design compiled and the materials chosen Noah began implementing the features that he thought the rifle would need. The typical ambidextrous controls were included to make the rifle easier to shoot in either hand. A flared magazine well makes it smoother and therefore easier to reload, a heavy ion bonded bolt carrier group was added to increase accuracy but has the downside of decreasing the rate of fire, the ion bonding also makes it more durable and easier to maintain. A threaded heavy barrel reduces recoil and allows muzzle devices to be attached. An adjustable cheek riser and recoil pad make it easier for individuals to adjust the rifle to their own preferences. Lastly a full set of rails, optics, accessory and grip/bipod, allow shooters to customize their specifications.
