Assassin Faction

So I wanted to start a faction for assassin's. Before I created it though, I wanted everyones oppinions so I don't start a faction only for it to be shut down because we don't have the required ammount of people.

As long as you don't rip-off Assassin's Creed in every shape and form, then I don't see a problem with it. I'm sure other people would be willing to join it, too.

It IS possible to have a minor faction. Factions don't have to be major even if you have enough people.

Best thing to do with Assassins is make a guild. And even that should be something that comes out of rps and stuff. It will last longer. Until then you could always serve some Sith or Imperial types. Make a rep for yourself before trying anything big.

And yeah you could have tried changing the name a bit.

Hey Corvo! I'm Jay and I hail from the great land of California USA. I noticed you asked for a few opinions about your new Assassins Faction. Awesome! I'd love to take a moment to offer some insights and opinions from my experience on this site.

• Factions must be Uniquely Awesome: Yep. And I completely believe that an Assassins Faction can do this. Way to go man!
• Factions need people: Erm... Yeah. Here is where I see you having problems. Your new? We don't know you? We might not feel you make for an inspiration leader? etc.

I'll stop there for now. I highly recommend that you achieve a few basic things before continuing with your idea here. I'll list them.

• Get 100 posts: This is just for your own personal experience.
• Make Friends: Get to know people and their personalities. If I were to ask you: Who is Darren Shaw? or, Who is Daxton Bane? I'd like to hope you've been around long enough to give me a straight answer. Hehe.
• Join a Faction: Spend some time as a team player with an established Faction. Learn the organization and 'people methods'. Gain the 'Common Sense'. This is very basic.
• Remember why you picked Star Wars: This seems simple, but can be a crutch for a good many people. Remember that this is a Star Wars site. Not a Fan Fiction Cross-over Naruto-loves-Batman Website. Aim for the pure blooded Star Wars nerd in yourself, and you'll do fine.

Also to be more fair, my name is taken directly from a canon source as well.

The idea of an Assassins faction/guild is both scary and fun sounding! I recommend following everything Jay said up there. You'll set yourself up for success this way. And never be afraid to ask questions just like you did here because we're all super helpful nerds.

Assassin's are interesting characters, I loved my own. I found it got a bit old though when you run into the fact you can only kill NPCs, except when the PC wants to die.
