Assault on Tatooine - Mos Espa Marketplace

Canisters rolled through the streets of Mos Espa, spreading their toxic fumes of radiation along the way to scatter the locals in the area. Vega wasn't far behind, either. Armed with a respirator around her mouth and a modified battle droid rifle in her scorched hands, the Sith followed behind half a dozen modified battle droids responsible for tossing the canisters. It was more of a threat to scare the locals off, but the canisters were necessary when it came to those reluctant to leave their shops and positions in Mos Espa. But that was why the modified droids were there; Vega manufactured and modified them from her sanctuary - the Vault - especially for this mission and situation. With the right command installation, the droids fired at any who posed a threat to Vega and their mission. But the streets soon cleared of hostiles, now posing as corpses along the pathway Vega and her artificial squad marched in order to reach their destination. First, they were going to clear the streets as much as possible, then move onto the next until the marketplace was clear enough to loot. Vega was mostly after weaponry, materials and resources she could trade on the black markets. Galactic Narcotics would have been a bonus, but she didn't consider it a priority. There was enough of that going around. Things like Cortosis and weapons from both the First Order and Resistance were among the top of her list. They happened to make their way to Mos Espa traders who scavenged them from previous battlegrounds. Foolish to think their efforts would go unnoticed, they underestimated exactly how small this galaxy was. . . and the Sith determined to slay them down in order to retrieve these items.

Captain Keeli

Captain Keeli, back from the dead.
Keeli was sneaking up on her.
She cut off my leg, now I cut off her head...
Keeli had obtained a prosthetic leg and a vibroblade. He meant what he thought. He stepped out behind them.
"We meet again Vega! I feel that you should remember me! Don't you!?"
[member="Vega the Chaos Mage"]

Vega and her droids continued their march through the streets of Mos Espa marketplace until Vega heard the voice erupt from behind. The droids were first to turn, lifting their weapons to direct towards [member="Captain Keeli"]. They formed a barrier around Vega, leaving space for her to glance towards the familiar source. By the looks of it, a prosthetic leg compensated for his own one. However, she was more curious on how he was breathing. Had he not already acknowledged the streets were filled with radioactive fumes?

“Ahh, general!” Vega exclaimed, amusement in her lilt. “You are a bold one, aren't you?” She rhetorically added. Vega took a step back; the droids proceeded a few steps forward towards the general as they prepped their weapons. “Kill him. Make him remember the results of meddling in Sith affairs.” With that said, the droids opened fire upon the rogue general, starting with his other leg to try and render it useless.

Captain Keeli

Captain Keeli, back from the dead.
Keeli opened fire on the droids with his DC-17s.
"Fool, do you think droids will stop me! I've killed too many to take this seriously!"
Keeli put on his breathing mask. He spoke again in a now muffled voice.
"Prepare to die...again!"
Keeli fired one all the droids, 'killing' them one by one.
"I wasn't done talking to you then! Now, where were we?"
Keeli ran at Vega, determined to finish what he couldn't last time.

The droids dropped upon being fired upon, but not because they failed to function due to enduring too many bursts of fire. From within the radioactive cloud behind them, Vega glided her hand horizontally before her chest, resulting in the droids shutting down through her sorcery over the force. They weren't ready to malfunction just yet; Vega was yet to utilize their beneficiary programming just yet. But once they were down, Vega forgot about them for the moment. She could hear this [member="Captain Keeli"] marching through the fumes towards her. She didn't have the intention of killing him. Not unless she had to, anyway. Sure she got what she wanted off of him last time, but this time things were different. Far different considering the current events which transpired in Mos Espa by her hand. But she needed him to calm down, first.

Vega lowered her rifle, letting it dangle alongside her respective right side in the entanglement of her scorched digits as the rogue captain charged at her. She only waited till he allowed a few feet to come between them before she flicked her rest lift and digits, erupting luminous sparks of lightning from her fingertips to strike the captain and force him onto his back. Be that successful, she proceeded in using the force to pin him down upon the ground so she could talk to him in a more peaceful manner.
