Without a doubt, Astrid's tell-tale beauty is known far and wide. She is often compared to Éar, the Valkyri goddess of hunt and fertility who is often depicted as a blond-haired maiden riding a stag. Her face is symmetric, dominated by large, almond shaped eyes with irises coruscating in ocean blue hues. Her voluptous figure clad in linen dresses and fur cloaks is the object of desire of many Valkyri warriors.
BIOGRAPHY:
Astrid is the firstborn of Eodred Stormguard, chieftain of clan Stormguard, the loyal servants of High King. Throughout the ages, The Stormguard clan pledged their sons to the throne , so Astrid comes from a long line of warriors who serve the crown of Midvinter. Her mother, Illonia the High priestess of Runa, died during labor when giving birth to Astrid's brother Ingwar. Unfortunately, the baby was stillborn and on that day Eodred lost not only his wife but also his son, a loss from which he would never truly recover.
Thus Eodred raised his daughter as a boy, teaching her the art of the sword and taking her hunting, which forged her into a formidable hunts-and swordswoman. As the girl became of age and blossomed into a woman of unfathomable beauty, Eodred is faced with a dilemma: to strategically marry off his only daughter for the sake of political alliances or let her be a woman in her own right? Meanwhile, Astrid has a mind of her own...
