Intent: To Create a map room for Silver Jedi ships and temples using the advanced monitoring lattice
Development Thread:
Model: Map Room
Affiliation: Order of the Silver Jedi
Modularity: No (map updates with the network however)
Production: Limited
Material:
Designed by The Order of The Silver Jedi's research and development teams using information Je'daii gained from her visit to the ancient je'daii world. Then information Matsu gained going back and had used in the jedi investigations to find an old relic. The ability to copy and reverse engineer was impossible... but they did see ways to mimic. A room contained within an alusteel shell with the proper computers and lined with holo emitters.
When in use the Astrometrics lab can display in detail the lattice network of monitoring stations feedback and information. Updating quickly and showing the bulk of Silver Jedi space with accuracy unseen in most star charts. Much like the technology could observe and show the galaxy itself in great detail this is more focused and precise relaying only what is in the network including hazards, incursions and cutting down response time.
The map room itself draws a moderate amount of power in taking the information from the lattice and making them into a 3D holographic display (much like Yoda's training session in episode 2) around the room that updates quickly and in near perfect real time. The holograms can be moved, can be interacted with and zoomed in on to a degree to observe planets or galactic phenomenon. Track ship movements and in time (with dev threads down the line) have a hyperspace monitoring system.
Security of the information and the room is moderate, the rooms are made to be used on larger ships within the Silver Jedi notably designed by deals with Eshan Industrial, Rendili, Baktoid and Corellian Engineering. The security of breaking into one of the rooms is getting through the ship and bypassing the jedi on board. Not an easy feat over all and security for the networks is moderate. The stations are not high security they could be hacked but you would require a holoroom to see the data as intended.
The images coming in through the network is detailed, shorter range sensors that create within the network it monitors covering silver jedi space more details. The extent of the sensor range outside is small showing what goes on around to a point but beyond that sensors range there is none for the network to map and track. With work and more territory it could be enhanced, the possibility of stations being developed and deployed across the galaxy to make a strong map appealing but that would take a great deal of work and lucretive business dealings.
