OUT OF CHARACTER INFORMATION
  • Intent: To create a faction-specific unit for the Athysian League's Alcademon Hegenika
  • Role: Heavy Infantry
  • Permissions: NA
  • Links: NA
GENERAL INFORMATION
  • Unit Name: Alcademon Lonchophors
  • Affiliation: Athysian League
  • Classification: Heavy Infantry
  • Description: Armored with heavy armors and armed with large round reinforced shields and the characteristic electrospear, the Alcademon Lonchophors are the Athysian youth's finest, consisting the vanguard of the Alcademon armies.
COMBAT INFORMATION
  • Unit Size: Medium
  • Unit Availability: Common
  • Unit Experience: Trained
  • Equipment:
    • Heavy Durasteel Armor
    • Round Shield
    • Electrospear
    • Electroblade or Vibrowsword
  • Combat Function: Heavy Line Infantry.
Strengths:
  • Proud Warriors. The Lonchophors are hailing from the Athysian mountain camps, where they spent a decade in daring and challenging odds, moulded to be as much of a noble, as much of a brutal war machine. These warriors are hot-blooded tactical troops capable of standing against all odds with their morale unbroken.
  • Armies of the Demon Summoners. The Alcademon Hegenika has a long history in the dark arts and ritualistic magic, which eventually grew the troops and peoples of the Hegenika rather akin to such elements, granting them an innate endurance against Force-Oriented attacks
Weaknesses:
  • Hungry for Glory. The ultimate goal of each such warrior is to perform battle deeds of such valor even the very War Gods of Athys will notice. This leads these troops to oftentimes attack friendly units, should they feel that they are jeopardizing their glory during battle.
  • Denial of defeatskilled. The Athysian pride is perhaps one of the most renown elements of the civilization of Athys. This, however, comes with a great cost. Losing a battle significantly deteriorates these warriors' morale, resulting with high risk of infighting or even sacrificial executions, in hope to upease their dark patrons, if they are defeated in battle. This, given the unit will effectivelly leave the battlefield, instead of refusing to withdraw...

Athys. A dominion of thirsting War Gods and powerful conjurers and sorcerers. Each Athysian is expected to maintain his own arshenal to protect both his family, and his Hive City-State. So it has been for thousands of years. And when the duty calls, the vast armies of the Hegenika rally.

The Alcademons are renown of their excess use of Force Users in the battlefield, outmatching any other of their counterparts. Alas, the bulk majority of their legions consist of the youth of the mountain camps, newly-graduated their blood-soaked decade of initiation, now ready to show the world and beyond their valor. These men form the regiments and phalanxes of the Lonchophors, who stand as the vanguard and most numerous army branch of the Alcademon Stratis Hosts. Supported by the many beasts and monsters the Hegenika deploys, as well as the numerous elite units that follow their advance, the thick shield walls of the Lonchophors are known as tough as concrete and as bloody as their electrospear points.

I am unsure what the title of the weakness has to do with the description.

This reads a bit more like they have a pride issue... though the title would make it seem they can't really use the force that well. Could you clarify this for me and then we can get this approved.
