GENERAL INFORMATION

• Unit Name: Vrea Stratis
• Affiliation: Athysian League
• Classification: Infantry
• Description: The Vrea Stratis are the most numerous units of their Hosts. They consist of the trained youth of the Athysian Hive City-States. Every boy when reaching the age of 6, is taken to the Training Camps where they are undergoing a 10-year long training, making every last one of the Hive's inhabitants a potential soldier. Most end up remaining in their units, while others seek for a different way of life, although such is frowned upon.

• Combat Function: The Vrea Stratis operate as tactical line infantry troops, serving as the bulk force of their Hosts. They can assist in ground assaults, with specialized engineers and pilots in their ranks for crewing Walkers and tank vehicles.

Strengths:

• Legions. The Vrea Stratis hail from the highly populated Hive City-States of Athys, with their numbers always spiking.
• Born for Battle. The Vrea Stratis can prove to have excess endurance in long battles. Trained since the day they can remember, these troops' morale can hardly be broken, especially when their leaders or cultist allies are nearby.

Weaknesses:

• Second in Heaven, First in Hell. The Vrea Stratis, due to their sheer number, may prove to be able to maintain and hold positions, but their advances are almost always supported by the more elite units of the Stratis Host.
• Victims of the Circles. The Vrea Stratis are majorly consisted of non-force sensitive troops, whether they are commoners of the Hives, or recruited troops (either human or alien) who were accepted in the Athysian ranks by the nobility. This makes these units rather easily replaceable, which is depicted by their rather high casualty rates. The more the alien element in a Vrea Stratis company, the higher the chances of the unit not returning from the battle.

HISTORICAL INFORMATION
Led by their legendary warlords, the Vrea Stratis were the tactical armies of the Athysian Hive City-States. Armed with a plethora of weapons and equipment, from blaster rifles to repeater blasters and hand-cannons, all the way to walker vehicles and troop transport tanks, these men and women of Athys stand out as the most numerous army of the planet.

Vrea Stratis have been, ever since the Athysian League reached out to the stars, the main force that joins every front across the star systems plagued by the Raider Fleets.
