- Combat Function: Line Infantry, meant to support the advance of the heavy vehicles, while they can also launch head-on charges themselves.
- Dead Senses. The Vrea Machis are geared with durasteel armor, able to mount life support system on it, which allows the troops to deploy in any environment within or without an atmosphere, while at the same time they do not face difficulties when it comes to cold temperatures.
- Legion of Vorr. The Vrea Machis have undergone long training, making them one of the most renown tactical armies of the Athysian League. Their coherence in the battlefield only boosts their morale, blindly following the orders of their superiors and warlords. It is said that it is near impossible to break the spirit of such an army.
- Limited Arshenal. The equipment of the Vrea Machis is rather narrow in range, with only basic gear being given. This makes the troops to be unable to adapt new or different military tactics when it comes to warfare, as they are ill-equiped to engage the enemy in different conditions. This makes the units of this type very dependent on the armored vehicles.
- Defenseless. Organized to support motorized assaults, the Vrea Machis have no equipment on their own to defend themselves from aerial or land based attacks, making their units an easy prey when there are no vehicles to provide armor or shields.
The Vrea Machis are the main bulk of the Stratis Hosts of Sazhizchor Hive-City State on Athys. Their regiments consist of conscripted troops from the hive or vassal regions, meant to serve as line infantry. Their characterizing red cloaks stand out from any other Athysian Hegenika as a symbolic feature of the Nachimar. Strong-willed and most proud warriors, the Vrea Machis are always eager to show their valor in battle, hoping to be noticed by their superiors and be given the blessing of the Iron Hand.
