- Meteor Swarm. The Warclaw Dropships can be launched both against starships and planetary targets, as their massive claw-like mech-limbs allow them to snap or pierce themselves through most surfaces, while they are equipped with an explosive weaponized drill allowing them to spear through both vessel armors and stone or rocky terrain. When launched from orbit or atmosphere against land targets, the Warclaws cause an explosive shockwave upon impact, which also operates to "clear the path" for the coming assault.
- Fortspawns. After landfall, the Warclaws can be used as forts, allowing the attacking Athysians a well-armored rally point on which to push their charge.
- Frozen Targets. Although most tough to destroy, the Warclaws lack both hyperdrive, as well as advanced steering systems which makes it most difficult for them to perform complex maneuvers. This forces them to rely entirely on their speed and armor to resist enemy fire as well as bombardments, after landfall.
- Stout but weak. The warclaws are able to be used as small forts of the Athysian troops, which can also allow them coverfire and a foothold on the ground, however, these dropships lack of any significant armament to be defended against serious targets such as vehicles and bombardments from larger warships, making them only an armored rally point for the Athysians.
Standing out from the warry skies by the blaze of the fire trail leaving on their descend, the Warclaws are launched in massive numbers by the Athysian troop carriers, raining upon the foe in space and ground alike like an infernal rain of battle. Upon impact, these dropships cause a massive blast with their highly explosive drills, while thier spike-mech-limbs lung forth, grabbing onto the surface they land on. The homocentric, spiral maws forming the landing hatch tear through iron and stone alike, while they can be lifted by the heavy legs of the dropship to allow jumping onto the hostile ground. Seeming like warrior-crowns on the field, these dropships do not end their duty upon landing. Instead, the Warclaws are augmented with additional layers of reinforced hulls and weaponry to be able to take part in the unfolding battle as spawned forts for the Athysian troops on which they can rally, fortify and charge from, under the cover of the heavy anti-personnel MG blasters that are mounted on the narrow-opening hatches of the arrowslit holes of the crafts.
