Atrisia the Day of the Dead

Once a year all across Atrisia the ancestors are remembered and honored. It is a planet wide festival the Atrisian people take great pride and care in. I’m in the process of writing the intro of a open thread for all Atrisian characters and those wishing to experience the festival. Please do remember when joining public use of the Force is not welcomed on Atrisia. Residents of the planet that are Force users are all registered. They do not openly share that they are Force user in their day to day lives.

The vast majority of the planet hold a strong fear and dislike for Force users. So please when trying to enjoy this festival please keep that in mind. I hope I will have this thread up by the latest of tomorrow night.

This day of the dead is where family gathers to pay the respect of their family that has past. For three days Artisia celebrates the lives of their ancestors this way. Also there is a carnival for three days with food, rides, and games...for three whole days it is one big party.

Well I will be honest OOC wise about what Yokuni would hate or not hate. Yokuni does not hate Force users. He is one himself. He personally would be happy if Force users did not have to hide who they are on the planet of his birth. That is just the fear of younger generations on Atrisia. He is of a time when Force using monks were revered in honor and when they were traveling it was considered bad luck not to invite them in for tea and rice.

Now it would be quite unfortunate if Force user caused trouble on the day of the dead on Atrisia. It would only fuel the hate that a lot of Atrisian’s have with their views about Force users. Would he hate you? No. If you happened to survive a mob of fretful towns folks with pitch forks...

He would not hate you. If you want his attention there is other ways to get it.
