Pale of skin with dark pools for eyes that usually have flecks of greens and rare what looks like starlight. Their feathery soft hair and impossibly tall heights (by Atrisian standards) made them stand out once upon a time. A strange thing is fizzyglug creating the zenduu effect a state of hyper awareness and activity from drinking it as their bodies are not able to process it.

- Religion/Beliefs: To blend into Atrisian the Tsura have adopted the beliefs of the Liaozhai the Atrisian Pantheon but they are in legends as holding congress with the older gods from the sky. Tales of how they learned to shed their skins and become humans to walk among the people were dangerous and inspired fears which led to them being hunted.
- General behavior: Generally masking themselves as any normal atrisian citizen with a few exceptions. They are frail compared to many... unable to physically stand up to some but they are better orators... the speech givers ad voices of the Atrisian people. Their beauty sets them apart as well and they strive to rarely get into large groups of their own people for fear they might be discovered. Secrecy is their biggest asset and so they adopt and maintain themselves in Atrisian society... working with the people to try and influence change to make the world safer for themselves.
Ancient by Atrisian standards, the Tsura appeared deep in the interior lakes and marshes of Jar'kai's continent. The southern region being mostly marsh land with hundreds of smaller lakes. The first Tsura came from it and the legends of how they came to be vary... from being the children of a moon goddess, to having consorted with eldritch forces but the collected origins show that they were largely isolationist until the first Atrisians found them. They were very different back then but interbreeding saw them become much more Atrisian in their looks and while feared they were also regarded for their beauty. Their feathers highly valued for the healing properties that it gave off.
By the time of the Jade Empress the Tsura were largely legends and rumors.. something talked about and not seen. She issued a prize for anyone who could bring proof that they were real... feathers, their bodies, their bones... something that could be used to say they existed. There was little to no one able to earn the gold and each year the coffer offering it grew and grew. Until by the time of the Onyx empress who expanded the military influences on Atrisia the Tsura were themselves hunted down. If anything existed like that they were a beneficial tool to an army. She wasn't deterred by legends and hunted them out of their marshlands... forcing them to blend into the general population.
The remaining Tsura met only a handful of times in secret to try and figure out how best to preserve themselves but also disguise themselves within the Commonwealth. They started becoming community leaders, people who could influence and were considered in many ways above reproach as religious leaders who wouldn't be hunted. One of them rising to the position of chamberlain within the Commonwealth at the onset of the Gulag plague and trying to save the people as the Tsura tried to save people with their feathers but it didn't do much. Many more died trying to preserve the lives which got the Emperor at the time to reverse the ancient edict on hunting them.
They were not always welcomed in society and soon enough faded back into the shadows of Atrisia choosing to remain hidden and try to rebuild any sort of population. The Netherworld and occupation by outside forces saw the Tsura hiding themselves away. With the ushering in of the Jishi era they continued to do such but promote themselves as voices and leaders to ensure the dangers of the past are known and the new chapter is pushed forward as the people of Atrisia are being worked with to better improve their lives. The Tsura reclaiming in secret one of their older homes from the Rice Wine Empress as stewards who maintain the grove year round in preparation for her Star Festival.
