Attempting to write again, off the board.

While I enjoy the board like an addict with their chosen vice, I find myself drifting back to a writing project and was curious as to what Criticism I could get on the work so far. With that said, I have a small collection of what I've written for a novel im working towards and was curious what people might think of it. Any and all thoughts are appreciated as it helps me see what my be faulty and what people might like. While I understand writing novels is best done by writing something you want to read, there is never a time when criticism cant help.

Thank you and I hope you enjoy what I have done so far on it.

I'll give this a look soon. I've published work so might be able to give some pointers. Feel free to PM me too, if you want.

Couple quick things: watch your verb tenses. You switch them a couple of times. Also you have a lot of run on sentences that make reading them confusing. I'll have to read more for story elements.

From what I read earlier, it looks good. I just...how do you have such great muse? I've tried writing stuff but I hit writer's block then get salty

I like to world build is the big thing. I never actually run out of ideas in the past, its just the grammar issues I run into, as [member="Ever Dawnracer"] just pointed out. (Something i am working on fixing.)

Writer's block is entirely mental. The way to beat it is to tell yourself you can,and then to sit and free write. It does t have to be for your project, but you should write something. Always make yourself write something every day. It helps.
