I'm late, but I think there are quite a few people who deserve recognition during the month of August.
First, however, one particular person deserves a mention due to a recent thread. [member="Braith"] came forth with the idea of turning one of our popular faction threads into a dominion. By all accounts this is what's called taking initiative and not many people do it.
Unfortunately, in the eyes of a few, this is an issue and she respectfully changed the dominion back into a faction thread--not to appease them--but because she felt it was the right call, by my understanding.
I don't want to go too far on this non-issue but let me just say this. What she did is called pivoting; a structured correction to improve the quality of our roleplay. That is an intelligent, positive, and bold decision to make. Even if it wasn't hard to make, she took the time to think about the situation, and went out of her own way to improve it for the benefit of the faction.
She took the steps that very few people do to reward the activity of participants with a greater prize, other than the crystals she spent her own time to make for others.
Any faction would be lucky to have her, and I'm proud to say she's in the Primeval.
