This ship is a combination of several different designs. it borrows an overall nose design from an X-wing, albeit sharpened. The wings are borrowed from atmospheric fighters, while the wing mounted cannons are borrowed from the Cutlass-9, they cannons themselves are shortened. Finally, from the old V-wing, it takes wedged wings, but reverses them and turns them into wing guards that go over the wing mounted laser cannons and possess additional sublight boosters. Overall the ship is designed to get into places and out of them quickly, or to be a superiority starfighter in dogfights.

- While the wings of the ship are usually at an angle of 165 degrees, in fighter configuration, the ship can also be switched to interceptor configuration, causing the wings to bend back further to approximately 115 degrees allowing it faster flight and turning capability.
- This ship is very fast, and packs a lot of punch
- The Aurek II's defenses aren't amazing, relying more on the pilot's ability to evade attacks.
