Strengths:
- Void in the Force: Aurelius was born with a extraordinarily rare condition only recorded in a handful of people within the entire Galaxy: Not only could he be considered to be force dead, but a void in the force. Those who have met the Sun Guard typically tend to describe an 'miasma of unease' settling over the area like a thick fog, manifesting most often as a shiver up the spine. That is, if they can ever remember his appearance or even existence whatsoever -- yet another side effect of the unique condition. He is immune to direct force attacks similar to Yuuzhan Vong.
Aurelius spectates this is not the end of his abilities, either. Properly honed, the Sun Guard hopes he can harness his innate ability to nullify the force energy residing in lightsaber crystals and perhaps even manifest blasts of 'negative force energy' directly targeting the midichlorians of opponents, both force sensitive and non force sensitive.
- Seasoned Soldier: War is mother's milk to Aurelius Zhunbil, and through decades of braving the galaxy's most deadly battlefields as apart of both, the fiery crucible of battle has forged the green iron of a young, bright eyed recruit into the black steel of a seasoned warrior. Aurelius has nearly peak-human reflexes and skill with firearms and though he most favors the cackle of a flamethrower, lauded service within both the Sun Guard and the Imperial Royal Guard has distilled fine skills in explosives, piloting, sniping, stealth and general soldiery.
- Martial Arts: As with virtually all members of the Sun Guard and Royal Guard, Aurelius has been drilled extensively in the use of Echani Martial Arts (though due to nationalism, he tends to call it 'Thyrsian Martial Arts') and possesses the trademark skill of the Echani and Thyrsians to 'read' the muscles and body language of their opponent to adapt and predict their next moves.
Weaknesses
- Void in the Force: Unfortunately, Aurelius is immune to those trying to heal or otherwise aid him through the force as well, nor can he utilize any equipment or abilities that require midichlorians.
- Combat Stimulant Addiction: Aurelius is a frequent user of combat stimulants, particularly most potent variants that give him what feels like boundless stamina and the ability to access the maximum level of human strength and focus typically reserved for the fight-or-flight reflex. However, over the long years of abuse, he has become addicted to the substance and if deprived of the substance, he will gradually undergo increasingly worse withdrawal symptoms, until becoming heavily debilitated by the passage of one standard week.
- Fuel Tanks: Even while in civilian garb, Aurelius inevitably has one or two hidden flamethrowers concealed somewhere on his person. While the fuel tanks are typically well armored, unfortunate heating can lead to combustion and a potentially.. messy outcome for our Sun Guard.

Aurelius is no supermodel.
The Sun Guard is a veteran of hundreds of skirmishes and battles, and a collection of scars and a repeatedly broken nose is testament to this. His body is well built, but not excessively so, possessing hard features lined with muscles accompanied with a sharp, powerful facial profile.
BIOGRAPHY:
Aurelius Zhunbil was born in 27 BBY upon a dreary little picturesque Thyrsian farmstead. Even as a infant, it rapidly became evident that Aurelius was not quite like the other children. The animals on the farmstead tended to either whimper or snap at the boy, babysitters and other caretakers would often completely forget to mark him down on their rosters and occasionally even his own parents were reduced to stammering when asked for a specific description of their child. Aurelius, at the age of seven, would find some solace in the discipline of the local militia (In many parts of the planet, Thyrsians tended to draft even the youngest of children into local defense forces, as befitting such a militarized society) and hunting with his uncle, who had a better ability than most to remember his traits.
During the course of one of the many skirmishes between the Echani and Thyrsians, a Echani commando slipped away from the raging battle to recover from a wound within the Zhubil family basement. Armed with nothing but a captive bolt pistol typically used for the slaughter of bantha, the young boy stealthfully approached the Echani (who was distracted in attempting to contact the rest of her unit) leaped upon her back and plunged the bolt pistol through her skull again and again until she eventually stopped moving.
By the time elements of the Sun Guard reached the farmstead, they found a exhausted Aurelius attempting to sever the spine of the Echani Commando with a rusty carving knife in an attempt to take a 'trophy.' While most reasonable civilizations would take this as a sign of severe mental illness, the Sun Guard had a great laugh about it and after a ceremonial mutilation of the corpse, offered to 'apprentice' young Aurelius to a senior veteran of the Sun Guard. After a long service in the Sun Guard during the Clone Wars and subsequent service in the Royal Guard under Emperor Palpatine, Aurelius was carbon frozen in approximately 5 ABY, as apart of the Emperor's machinations to create a reserve force of troops to draw upon as a contingency for the demise of his first body and the collapse of his Empire. The Reborn Emperor failed to awaken the particular stockpile of troops Aurelius was apart of before his machinations were defeated, and thus the Sun Guard awakens centuries later, to a chaotic galaxy, foreign to him.
Now, months after being unfrozen, Aurelius pries his old trade: Mercenary work.
