- Unit Name: Siren Corps
- Affiliation: Laertia Io │ Eternal Empire
- Classification: Mechanized Infantry
- Description: An all-female infantry unit, soldiers of the Siren Corps generally wear armor with dark blue highlights to match the colors of House Io, but are permitted to customize their armor how they see fit, adding kamas, capes, and other aesthetic modifications. Nevertheless, they are an extremely disciplined, reliable, and loyal formation. Often seconded to the Eternal Empire, they are notably distinct from the Ultranaut Corps in that they are not considered to be part of the Eternal Empire's military, instead working under Laertia Io and her allies. In that, the Siren Corps are intended to become a major part of the Black Knight's forces.

- Combat Function: In combat, the Siren Corps are a standard, yet highly versatile mechanized infantry unit. They are capable of acting in the capacity of light, line, shock, marine, and heavy infantry, fulfilling a wide range of offensive, defensive, and support functions. The Siren Corps also deploys droids, most notably Model 2 Nuetralizers, primarily for additional tactical utility and heavy firepower. Overall, the Sirens are an extremely disciplined and loyal force that can be relied on to execute any order to an exacting standard, in line with the relentless, often cruel reputation of the Black Knight.
- Expendable - Sirens are extremely expendable and easy to replace, given the speed of Engineered Variance Cloning and the memory imprinting therapies which provide virtually all of their training.
- Versatile - Although primarily an infantry unit, the Siren Corps are supported by a force of droids which provide close air support, heavy firepower, Anti-Force utility, and more. These assets allow them to hold their own against enemy armor, but they are not as efficient as a dedicated armor unit.
- Artillery - Lacking the means to fulfill this role on their own, The Siren Corps generally depend on other units for artillery and indirect fire support.
- Special Operations - While robust as a unit, the Sirens generally lack the experienced personnel necessary for commando operations. They are best deployed en masse, where their discipline and coordination shines brightest.
- Droid Support - The Siren Corps make extensive use of droids to support their operations. Maintaining many of these droids requires specialized personnel of which are not directly attached to the unit. As such, when operating independently, care must be taken to ensure that their droids are not run too hard in order to avoid excessive wear and tear.
With the lingering presence of the Bryn'adûl in Wild Space and the rise of the Brotherhood of the Maw in the Unknown Regions, the Siren Corps were established by Hanna and Arianna Belasko. While often seconded to the Eternal Empire, the Siren Corps is commanded directly by Laertia Io. Intended as a biosynthetic unit from its conception, the benefactors commissioned First United Astral Engineering to produce the soldiers of the Siren Corps via EVC, an advanced cloning technique which can generate wholly unique subjects.
Specifying that the subjects undergo an extensive memory flash training regimen with an emphasis on combat and socialization during their growth period, an initial order of ten soldiers was commissioned on a trial basis. Each of these subjects quickly proved to be capable of meeting the requirements of the new unit. As such, more soldiers were ordered, quickly expanding the ranks of the Siren Corps to a full-sized formation. After their memory flash procedures, Sirens also underwent additional training under experienced Nuetralizers, most notably those veterans of the Third Imperial Civil War, the operations against the Bryn'adûl, and the expeditions against the Brotherhood of the Maw. As such, their training is geared towards fighting both conventional and unconventional enemies, including a broad spectrum of anti-Force-user tactics, most notably being Teräs Käsi. However, they are especially focused on killing Bryn'adûl, having learned directly from many of the most experienced 'Bryn killers in the galaxy.
In the field, the Sirens often work together with Nuetralizers and other assets and allies of the Black Knight, which often provide the specialized support the Sirens usually lack by themselves. In these scenarios, the Siren Corps typically fall under the command of Nuetralizer Model 1s, Advanced Prototypes, and higher-ranking members of House Io. As such, most personnel in the Siren Corps are designated as citizen-soldiers of House Io. However, individuals can ascend in rank within the House based on merit, in addition to within the rank structure of the Siren Corps itself. This internal ranking structure lends the Sirens an independent chain of command separate from the House, affording the unit more agility and effectiveness when deployed alone.
Ultimately, they are intended to fill out the Black Knight's reserves of personal forces with a secondary core of organic soldiers, who are more capable of interacting with civilians than the often-terrifying Nuetralizers. Nevertheless, they are intended to be just as lethal and effective as their mechanical counterparts. However, whether they will develop the same fearsome reputation as their mechanical brothers is yet to be decided...
