Ava sports short shoulder-length, white hair and pale gray eyes, mostly features from her Echani blood. Apart from that and her tall stature, Ava does not have many notable features to speak of other than typical scars obtained from past battles, though most are concealed. When in gear, Ava sports her godfather's old armor, refurbished and repainted in blue. A scratched emblem of a lion is visible on the left shoulder pauldron.

Brave and headstrong are typically words that best describe Ava. There isn't a scenario that she's lived through where she has been anything but. From a young age, she had learned the grim reality of war and turmoil, having only survived it through the efforts and teachings of her godfather, Zakaria Black. She has learned to stand up and fight for those who are oppressed by tyrannical governments, and while she may be stubborn in her approach, has always ensured that she fought for the best of intentions.

Ava grew up in a time of strife and war during the New Imperial Order's rise to power and its subsequent claim to former Sith Empire territories. Her godfather, Zakaria Black, was a veteran of the Sith Imperial elite as well as a Stormtrooper general under the New Imperial Order taught her much in regards to fighting and commanding as she grew up, inspiring her to protect those unable to protect themselves. Ever since she became enlisted, Ava has grown up to be an equally skilled soldier within the stormtrooper corps, of comparable skill and merit to their most elite.

Ava's weakness when it comes to commanding forces is her concern and empathy for those caught in the crossfire. More times than not she will divert herself, resources, and personnel to the defense of those unable to escape from the combat zone, thus more often than not putting her in perilous positions.

Ava's early military career was built on her ability to boldly lead from the front. With nerves of steel and the heart of a lion, Ava rarely backs down from a fight and her presence on the frontlines positively impacts the morale of those under her command. She is skilled in a number of different tactics to help further improve her success rate on the battlefield, from standard Imperial tactics to unconventional guerilla tactics.
