Avatar Gif (Need Help Cropping)

Alright so, i'm trying to give myself a new avatar but i can't freaking crop the gif i want. Everytime i try it messes up or distorts in some weird way. Basically, i'm trying to make the gif in my signature my new avi. I want to cut out all the nonsense in the background and only leave Winter (On the right) in a small box (230x200) so it fits. I will also need the image flipped so she faced towards the right and not away towards the left.

For future reference, a site such as "Ezgif" is very handy for all things GIF related - it allows you to crop, resize, even slow down, GIFs, and works on standard JPG/PNG files too.

It's what I've used for GIF cropping since losing Photoshop
