SPECIAL FEATURES
Duraflex - Plastoid is the material of choice for the average Trooper. The Emergence has no interest in tradition however, and uses much more resistant and durable Duraflex
Neural Network - In todays Galaxy, Radiowaves are like a Protocol Droid using a tincan and string. Helmets are equipped with built-in wireless Neural Routers. These connect to every other Helmet in the same Squadron and allow for immediate communication via thought alone
Vocoder - Deep and Artifical, the Vocoder in every helmet serves to scare and intimidate
Strengths:
Anti-Blaster - Using Duraflex, UCRA-G is resistant to most blaster fire
Neural Network - Much like a Hive-Mind, every Helmet comes with an integrated wireless Neural Router. These are linked to the Helmet's respective Squadron and allows for instant communication via thought
Mobile - The use of Duraflex allows UCRA-G Armour to be mobile and resilient
360/UV/IR - UCRA-S Helmets are equipped with different displays, such as Infra-red and Ultraviolet, allowing them to see through visual blockers and darkness. The back of the Helmet is also fitted with a Microcamera, providing an almost 360 view and feeding it to the HUD
Stimulated CNT - The arms are, in essence, a duraflex sleeve with Carbon Nanotubes coiled around. These CNT's are stimulated constantly, according to the muscular strain the combatant is exerting. When strength is needed, the wearer's own efforts are greatly boosted by the tubes covering their arms
Moar Armour - The General-Series of UCRA armour is worn only by Generals in the Avilok. It features much more Armour than the Standard Series, plus Mobility points that are bridged by thicker Armourweave
Weaknesses
Soft-spots - Most of the Armour Focus is on the body and Head. Mobility points consisting of the Thighs and Neck are covered only by Armourweave and are vulnerable to most attacks
Temperature - Although the wiring inside is EMP/Ion Hardened, being Superconductive, it is vulnerable to intense heat. If exposed to an environment above 100 degrees celsius, Superconductivity will be lost, reducing the electronics to a Copper standard. This will inevitably have a domino effect as the armour's power systems are built around Superconductivity. Normal use after Superconductivity is lost will melt the wiring and render the vast majority of the armour's functions useless, reducing it to nothing more than a heavy duraflex suit.
Pls don't stab - The UCRA-G is overlayed with ultrachrome, giving it defence against slashing strikes from a lightsaber. However, if stabbed head-on, the Ultrachrome will be melted and the blade will go through.
Description
Worn only by Generals in the Avilok's military branch, the UCRA-G features more widepsread armour pieces than its Standard counterpart. The Helmet is designed with a collar that protects the Mobility point at the neck, reminiscent of the Helmet worn by the Dark Lord of the Sith, Darth Vader. Other mobility points, specifically at the ribs and thighs are strengthened with thicker Armourweave. The mobility points between the Shoulder and Forearm are reinforced with a thin Duraflex plate that is layered under the bottom of the Pauldron for Mobility and Armour.
The Helmet comes with all standard displays such as Vital Signs, 360/IR/UV, Neural Network Communication and a Vocoder. Plus displays that show the rank and name of an observed Avilok Combatant and real-time analysis of the surrounding environment that allows the wearer to plan and change orders in the wake of environmental change.
Also cape for flair.
mmm Cape.
