Axe and trees

Ai-lynn started her day by going down the mountains after eating breakfast and taking an axe with her. For today, she wasn't going to cut down any trees. She was going to train herself by swinging the axe against the trunk. She knew her skills weren't good enough to fight any living creatures and therefore, trees were the safest practice target for her.

After she found a shaded and cool spot under a tree, she swung the axe towards the tree, leaving many cuts on the trunk. She imagined the tree as another living being she was fighting.

The ship dropped out of hyperspace and Ooroo pounded her fist on the panel with the navigational data. <Stupid thing> The words came out harsh and from the ancient Twi'lek dialects mixed with anceint basic. Most couldn't understand her while she was letting the force energies around her manifest with the ship heading downt ot he planet. ALl of their hard work to fix and patch it up had stayed together while they touched down. The twi'lek making a face while she was walking and grabbed her gear, mostly the headset for her cones and straps for her lekku to protect them. A sword as well as a blaster with a small look on her face heading out and seeing trees.

Ai-lynn grunted as she used more force to hack at the tree in front of her. She closed her eyes and tried to remember how her father moved when he swung his weapon. She was totally engrossed in it and ignored her surroundings. Her arms were beginning to ache but she had no intention of giving up so easily.

Ooroo could feel something while she was moving around with her senses on edge as well as some of the things. She could feel someone on the very tip of it before she was walking and let her lekku twitch. Then she could hear it from a human while walking forward to see her. The twi'lek took a position behind but far enough away not to be a threat as she spoke. Her speech coming out indecipherable for the moment but there was some root basic within it. <What are you doing human?>

Ai-lynn snapped back from her imagination to reality when she heard someone talking, probably to her. She had an accent and dialect she never heard before but could somewhat decipher what she was trying to say.

Putting her axe down, Ai-lynn turned towards the other person and there, she saw an elegant human-looking being with two tentacle-ish things hanging from the back of her skull. It was the first time she was seeing species who lived other than her own.

"Just killing time." Ai-lynn replied her while wiping the sweat off her face with her hands.

She was looking at the woman and at the well axe while moving forward more. She didn't understand fully the dialect the girl was speaking in but had to admit to a few of the things. She wasn't scared or worried about it being a danger though while she spoke. <I see, what world is this?> She was still trying to learn the names of it and was digging in her pocket for one of the phonetic translator pads... she could at least try and sound out the words. Do bad there wasn't a functional lapel she could where that just translated what they were saying now that bit of science fiction would be soemthing she could enjoy.

Ai-lynn had to concentrate to decipher what the other person was talking about.. or maybe it's just her rarely socialising with others. "..Yashuvhu. Forests and mountains." She looked at her curiously. She didn't seem hostile to her and was wondering how she got into this planet.

The twi'leks lekku twitched a little in understanding while she stood thre and looked around. Well not understanding there was a lot of words in that she didn't understand but smile and nod generally helped. Based on how the girl didn't seem to fully know what she was saying either they might have been insulting each others momma's or something. <I see> She said it while moving around a little. <Is there a place to get supplies for a ship?>

Ai-lynn was genuinely confused. She had to pause for a few seconds to process what the female Twi'lek was talking about. Ship..? She thought to herself. She never saw one before, nor did she know what it needed. "What ship?" She asked. "What you need?"

Ooroo looked pointing to the ship behind her while she wondered what place didn't seem to know about ships for going through space... though granted she didn't really know much about some of these large buildings and massive cities. Or the many different aliens they had discovered throughout the galaxy. "I need basic parts to get the shields maintained."

Ai-lynn looked behind the lady and saw a huge.. thing. She couldn't describe it but she guessed that it was how the stranger got on to this planet in the first place. It probably needed metallic items which weren't present on her planet, or not that she knew of. She only travelled as far as the forests below the mountains.

"Sorry. Not around here.. I suppose." She replied with a slight shrug.

Her lekku twitched in acknowledgement, she might not understand the words but it didn't have the Come with me movements usually associated with the humans wanting to show you where to go. She could handle that though and finally gave a small nod and shrug. <Not as important> She'd be able to find something in the next world hopefully or contact that jedi to get more information. <So what world is this human?>

It was difficult for Ai-lynn to communicate with this stranger because she could neither understand the technologies the Twi'lek was using nor her language. However, she was curious about the worlds outside of hers.

"Does everyone outside.. travel in that?" Ai-lynn asked and pointed at the thing behind the stranger.

She was looking at her and gave a nod of her head. <Yes although this ship is very old.> She said it while looking over some of the things in the wood while she was wondering a few of the things. <If you want you can come on a trip.> She was using the force more to try and pick up parts of her speech and trying to make her own match while indicating with her hands and lekku. for everything around them. Traveling around the galaxy could give some interesting things.
