DESCRIPTION
Az-Med was started as a small personal research operation before moving its way up to an entire lab and eventually the multi-planet corporation it is today. The public face is the board of directors who manage the day to running of the company. In the background Azaloth rubs the entire thing but she rarely does anything major beyond her personal projects or overseeing major deals or decisions. The public perception of the company is that they are a benevolent medical company hosting major hospitals and labs on both Ession and Trian. In private and backroom dealings the company deals in illegal genetic alterations, cybernetics, and more in the grey is cloning beyond the simple organ and limb replacements.
RATIONALE
Being the daughter of monarchs Azaloth had plenty of time on her hands, and one of the things the peaked her interests was genetic manipulation. She started learning on the holonet and eventually attended prestigious schools where although she wasn't the best she always kept herself near enough to the top. Once returning home Azaloth began to exparment in her free time and eventually started using some of the family fortune to hire other professionals. Things started to expand and the entire group agreed that they should open up shop and sell some of their creations to continue funding the operation.
