BIOGRAPHY:
Azaz’el was born on the harsh world of Tatooine. He was raised there by his parents until the age of 5, when they were senselessly slaughtered by a tribe of Sand People while he was out wondering the dunes. This is where Azaz’el’s life took a turn. His anger grew in him as he looked at the bodies of his fallen family before he took off after the tracks that their attackers left behind.
When he reached their encampment, his angered fueled him as he took off down into the encampment at night. This was the first night that he can remember knowing that there was something different about him. He did things that night that he couldn’t explain. Within a half hour he had managed to destroy the entire encampment, leaving no one alive.
Once he realized what all he had done, he fled the area. Azaz’el knew that he would not be caught, but he just couldn’t be there any more. From that moment, he was on his own. He stole to feed himself, moving in the shadows to not be seen or found for the same reasons his family lived in the uninhabited areas of Tatooine, he was different. Azaz’el was a unique species that was rarely if ever seen; many thought they were extinct. He would always hide his face beneath a hood as he moved through the different settlements until he finally made his way to the spaceport of Mos Eisley.
When he finally found himself there, several years had passed and he had grown a lot. Mos Eisley was a great place for him to disappear, at least at first. No one paid him any mind at first. It was filled with so many people from all over the galaxy. There he was able to make money doing odd jobs for Bounty Hunters and shop owners before he started to catch the eye of a few representatives of the Confederacy. Azaz’el didn’t care to have anything to do with them, so he bought himself passage to Yavin Four on a cargo ship.
While on board, he met a man whom did not seem surprised by his appearance. Azaz’el struck up a conversation with the man and discovered that he had run ins with others of his species in remote parts of Yavin Four. He wanted very much to learn about who his people were and where he was going seemed to be the perfect place to do so.
As the cargo ship landed, the man directed him to the area where he had encountered other of his species, and off he went. He travelled through the dense forest until he reached an abandoned encampment. It appeared as if there had been an attack here and it became clear that whoever lived here, they were not welcome. As he searched the destroyed town, he found pictures of others who appeared to be the same species as him along with texts written in a language he did not recognize. It had appeared that this planet had quickly become a dead end in his new found journey to learn more about his people.
Azaz’el left the settlement defeated as he headed back to the spaceport on Yavin Four. It appeared to him that his journey of self discovery would have to wait and he signed on with a Cargo Crew that travelled the galaxy; hoping that somewhere down the road he would be able to come across something that would lead him to his people.
After serving on the crew for a little over four years, they finally landed on a planet where there were people who had some answers for him. Ziost was a planet was a desolate world and from the moment he stepped off the ship, it was the first time that he ever felt as if people weren’t surprised to see some one of his species. It was an odd feeling to him and it made him wonder if they had seen his kind before.
Something inside him told him that this was the place to begin truly looking to see if there were any remnants of his people. He left his crew behind and went out into the wilderness of Ziost in search of any sign that his people had once inhabited this planet, and he found it; it was everywhere. There were ancient texts and pieces of imagery everywhere depicting an ancient people that looked like him. Azaz’el went to the libraries in the area to research who this ancient race was and he found his answers. They were called The Sith and he found out that there were still remnants of them in the area, but they were scattered.
He read about their ancient ways and exploits through the galaxy and how powerful they had become. Their history was everywhere and then he got to the most interesting part of his reading; their home planet wasn’t too far away, a planet named Korriban. He read that it was under the control of a group known as The Sith Empire. From his readings, he had come to know that this Sith Order wasn’t his people, they were imposters that had come and conquered them and enslaved them, and then they almost eliminated them by mixing with them and trying to breed them out.
This angered him; it angered him that the planet that rightfully belonged to his people now belonged to these imposters. He took a few deep breaths and he knew what he needed to do. Azaz’el needed to get to Korriban and reconnect with his ancestral roots. He went searching for a ship that could take him, but he found none. Thats when the trouble started for him. His research into the Sith race had drawn the attention of the Sith Empire. Some of their agents caught up to him on Ziost and tried taking him into custody.
Azaz’el allowed his rage to fill him as he lashed out at them. The force exploded from him throwing the non force users amongst them against the walls around them, knocking them out cold. The only ones left standing were the members of the Sith Order that were there to take him with them. They quickly realized his potential and moved against him. Despise his raw power, he had no control over it and he was no match for the seasoned force users who easily subdued him. As he came to, he was shacked and being boarded onto a transport on the planet of Ziost; but he was not headed to Korriban, instead he was headed to Dromund Kaas as a prisoner of The Sith Empire, like his ancestors before him.
