Biography:
Born on a small farming colony, Azrae was poor the moment he first entered the world. However, his cleverness at making money came apparent early on, trading left over food for other things, that could fix the machines, bring in new items, and how to sell these new items for a profit. For some reason, he always knew what people where looking for, before they did, and was able to make his family thrive.
He gained a good education from the local schools on his home world, however, it never honestly pushed his mind the way he wanted. In time, he was sent off world to go to university, where he flourished. His days were spent studying, his afternoons interning for a shipping company, and his nights, betting on races and the like. He always knew who would win before they did. However, he managed to never win so much that he gained to much attention, but always enough for what he needed.
During these formative years, he learned much about how the galaxy worked, how to work a business, how to get what he wanted, and a lot about politics and manipulation. Upon graduation, he was quickly brought in as new talent into the shipping company, and within years made his way to management. Here, by luck, he became friends with one of the members of the board of directors. Becoming close to him, he used his powers to help the man make good investments. So, when he told him to not buy a company they had their eyes on, he took it, and the merger never went through. Within weeks, the unbought company's transgressions came to light, tax evasion, slavery, and so much more. The shipping firm was glad to be clear of the mess, and raised Azrae to an executive position as one of their vice presidents.
Upon the sudden death of the previous CEO, Azrae was raised up to fill the spot, and he led the company with determination for years. When he sold the company to a rival company, the board of directors made billions, as did he. With his share, he started up Axon Entertainment Industries. It was a little outside of his comfort zone, however, he quickly bought up news outlets, children's media holochannel's and so much more. Each year, they made more and more of a profit, and became more ingrained in the galaxy. In the political upheavals of the last century, he made a killing controlling information, gathering it, selling it, controlling what the citizens of various factions understand of the galaxy for the faction owners.
When the disasters happened, he kept his interests safe with his abilities, and managed to always come out on top after, buying up land, spaces, bringing jobs to war, disaster torn worlds. He created and bought companies as subsidiaries of Axon, expanding from just information into pharmaceuticals, weapons and armor, droids and ships, raw materials and agriculture. In the end, even as factions came and fell, they relied on Axon for the ability to produce goods, to control information, and to build the infrastructure needed to control their territories.
He has never chosen a side, and instead, provided needed services for the entire galaxy. As fortunes fell, his only kept rising. However, in his dreams he saw his inevitable end. Try as he could, he tried to find ways to alleviate it. But still they kept coming. Would everything he built fall? Or could he find someone like him, someone able to keep his legacy alive? One way or another, he would fight fate, and his dreams would continue to flourish and his influence expand.
