- No Off Switch: Given how important the armor is to her survival in battle, Azula has done intense augmentations to make it nearly impervious to Ion and EMP based weapons.
- Never See It Coming: Sonic weapons and radiation can ravage this armor, as well as extreme forms of heat and cold.
- Environmental Hazards: The armor is rather resistant, but it suffers from a limitation in what elements it can protect a wearer from. Extreme heat or cold will put the wearer at risk.
- Life Support: Azula uses the suit as a method to allow her to continue fighting, but makes her is exceptionally vulnerable to EMP weapons, which will not only incapacitate her, but possibly kill her if her medical devices short circuit; thankfully long as the armor is not over eighty percent compromised, this can be prevented.
When she nearly died by the hands of her former lover, Azula was left without Beskar, holding onto only a pair of wrist-guards and clinging to life, she was forced to accept a harsh reality. Her new armor would not hold a trace of the original Mandalorian metal, rather, she’d have to adapt; as was the way of the Mandalorian. Using resources from her allies and the NIO technology she could gather, she created a new suit of armor, one that would enable her to continue fighting, even as her health continues to decline.
