STRENGTHS AND WEAKNESSES (Required: 2 Weaknesses Minimum) :
[+] Jedi Training: Thanks to the training he received during his time as a Youngling and up to his current rank of Knight as well as being a gifted duelist, he is highly capable when it comes to self defense and the defense of others. His preferred and best styles are Soresu, Ataru and Niman which he has learned to blend and make himself difficult to predict in one on one combat.
[+] Force Sensitive: His ability to work with and through the force is nearly limitless, however due to his preference on lightsaber combat and the more physical side of force based abilities (I.E. Force Jump or Force Speed) he has yet to truly embrace the sheer depth of his abilities.
[+] Empathy: While he is a student of the Jedi he is also very attentive to the feelings of others and Is rather good at giving words of advice, wisdom and therapy. He does what he can to ease the mental burdens of others, be they friends of strangers.
[-] Dark Side Tempting: Being as sensitive as he is, he's more than familiar with the promptings to use the darkside. Hes flirted with the sheer power its offered and has barely at times resisted it. Due to this he does his best to remain faithful to the light side teachings, granted he has his reservations to the Jedi lifestyle.
[-] Battle High: If for whatever reason he's in prolonged combat he begins to lose himself to the violence. Not only does this leave him open as he doesn't care about being harmed while in this state, it also leaves him vastly less reserved about using the darkside. This has caused his fighting style to be more defensive with emphasis on delivering quick powerful, overwhelming attacks.
[-] Empathy: Due to feeling the same emotions of those around him, being submerged too long can overwhelm him and vastly reduce his effectiveness and requires him to seclude himself for a time, meditation is key at this point.
APPEARANCE:
Generally wears the robes of the Jedi, however he has an affinity to the color Amber and as such generally wears his robes with amber or enhanced accents around the sleeves. Used to have dread locks but has since cut them as they tended to get in his way over time. If asked he admits he misses them.
BIOGRAPHY:
Born to a Jedi father who left the republic and a force sensitive mother on the backwoods planet Yeen, Azur had a rather simple upbringing. Around the time he was six his connection with the force became apparent. So much so that his father contacted the Jedi Order and proudly had his son become a Youngling. These early years were formative for the young lad, yet even with his studious approach to the Jedi way, none of it really swayed him from his own promptings. A bit of an Odd ball that was teased, as he got older his quirky nature and charm made him many friends and made him a Padawan with high potential. Once he'd graduated to Jedi Knight he'd take on the more unusual missions the republic required doing, particularly those of the more aggressive and battle minded nature. As such his old master prompted him to step away from the field, fearing he would give into his darker promptings. Currently he wanders the streets of various worlds, taking in the life of common folk and expanding his view on the galaxy. Most pressing to him currently is noticing that the republic typically doesn't meddle with the affairs of common folk, something that disturbs him. After all, aren't the Jedi the hero to those that need them most?
