1. Deceptively strong for her size, thanks to her upbringing in the Bright Sun clan on Dathomir.

4. Her small frame allows her to be very nimble, and her height allows her to use gravity against taller foes to flip them onto their back.

APPEARANCE:
A petite woman, but made of pure muscle. Her lean muscles are hidden under baggy clothes, belying her strength and giving the impression of a meek young woman. Her long white hair can usually be found in intricate braids, though now that she's away from her adoptive family it is straight and silky. Her alabaster skin and silver eyes give away her Echani heritage at a glance. She tends to wear loose fitting, light, black clothing and minimal armor.

BIOGRAPHY:
Born into an upper-caste family on Eshan, Azure grew up in comfort and affection. For seven years Azure grew up happy and content, learning the Echani martial arts as soon as she was able to walk. At age 7 she, her mother, and a few servants went off-world to teach Azure about other cultures. Unfortunately on their way home, the ship was attacked by pirates. During the attack, 3 of the servants were killed, and once the pirate captain took Azure hostage the fight came to a halt. Azure's mother Opal surrendered and allowed the pirates to take whatever cargo they wanted off the ship in exchange for Azure's safety. Once the pirates had left the women with nothing but the clothes on their backs and the ship, the women were just about to jump into hyperspace when the pirates fired on their ship. The blast, while not stopping their jump, destabilized them and their navigator put in the wrong coordinates. After jumping out of hyperspace, the women were unable to stabilize the ship and crash landed on Dathomir. To protect Azure, Opal held her child close to her, and ended up saving the 7 year old's life.

When Azure was found by the nearby hunting party from the Bright Sun clan, she was the only Echani still alive in the ship. She had severe head trauma, and was unconscious for three days. When she awoke in the clan's medicine building, she could remember nothing. After a few hours of being treated by the medicine woman, one of the hunters that found the crashed ship brought back a child-size bracelet and a blade. Azure was able to recognize her name, and the huntress explained that the sword was found on Opal, which the witches assumed was Azure's mother. Azure recovered slowly from the ordeal, and learned how to make medicines and salves from the medicine woman who adopted her.

Shortly after recovering fully, Azure first showed signs of force-sensitivity. Her new mother then began to train her in healing spells, and Azure picked it up quite quickly. Her quick study became quite the blessing, when an unfortunate, freak accident killed one of the clan’s newborn rancors, and nearly killed its brood sibling. Though she couldn’t save the first, due to being present at the accident she was able to begin the healing of the second, saving its life due to her early intervention. Her own mother came to assist, and while it was her help that ultimately saved the rancor’s life it instead formed a bond with the one who came quickly, Azure. Years would go by with Azure training, both in swordplay and her spellcrafts, until she was old enough to properly learn how to tame and mount a rancor. Naturally, having already formed a growing force bond with the injured rancor from so much earlier in her life, she picked it to become her first proper mount. And promptly named it, Cuddles.

Even later, now a full grown, unknowingly Echani woman, out for a pleasant stroll in the unforgiving land of Dathomir with her ever faithful, not too cuddly companion Cuddles, she encountered a very strange sight. A large, nay, massive ship, landed in a clearing far from any lands she recognized as being cared for by a Clan. Cautiously she approached, dismounting Cuddles to investigate everything about this. To her surprise, when the cargo bay was found open, it was massive enough to house a full grown rancor, one even larger than Cuddles, perhaps several rancors even. She found no trace of the almost certainly absent, or dead, owners of the ship as she wandered it thoroughly. She’d never really been inside a ship in her memory, and was confused about all the blinking lights, joysticks, and other doodads in the cockpit. Cuddles climbed on board, making a somewhat distressed noise when the doors closed that startled Azure, causing her to hit something and initiate takeoff.

More startled than before, she basically hit every button she could, and somehow by a force miracle (curse) managed to get the ship moving out of the atmosphere instead of directly into the ground. Panic settled in as she tried to figure out how it worked, and again she accidentally set the ship to jump to lightspeed, headed straight for, again as another force miracle (curse), Mandalorian Space.

After crash landing on Vanquo, Azure was adopted into the clan as a sister of the Alor, Cynthia Solus and slowly became adjusted to her new way of life. She was on Eshan when the CIS attacked, and assisted Valdus Bral in protecting civilians in the royal palace until they had to evacuate. As one of the last to get on the ships, however, Azure was a victim of friendly fire, and suffered severe wounds to her left side, barely surviving were it not for a Clan Bral medic keeping her stable until she and the Echani civilians, who wished to make sure one of their own was fine, arrived on Vanquo.

After recovering from her wounds, Azure was surprised to find that the Echani they had evacuated from the battle had decided to stay on Vanquo, essentially finding her and Clan Colus trustworthy... Though she didn't know they only thought this because she was clearly Echani. After these events, her life seemed to calm down, and she grew closer to Sterling Kinslayer as some of the few healers in Clan Solus. As time passed, she grew feelings for the Komo, though she has not pursued him romantically so far.

Life was calm, until the galaxy decided it was time for the UCM to fall.

Azure, by stroke of fate, was on the planet Azure when the Silver Jedi Order attacked the planet, and adopted Lailya Solus at her dying father's request when the girl was nearly 5. Leaving the planet with her newly adopted daughter, Azure's view of the Jedi became corrupted from what she had been told of them from that day forward, though she tried to keep her daughter from becoming too jaded by the attack as Lailya grew older. Shortly after the Jedi's attack, Kiros was another target in the war against the UCM. Unaware that it would be targeted, Azure had brought her daughter to a hidden Mandalorian bunker on the planet, to meet with members of other clans. Thankfully, Azure and her daughter were both able to leave thanks to Clan Mortui.

Weary from the two battles, Azure rested on Vanquo, and felt guilt when she heard of the attack on Mandalore and Concord Dawn. Guilt that she was not there. Guilt for all of her vode she could have saved if she was there.

Guilt that still weighs on her now, years later.
