  • Description: Illyria's Capital city is nothing short of beautiful. It is crafted over a large river that flows from side of the city to the next. The City itself spans miles in every direction. All manner of government buildings, military institutes, and commercial skyscrapers are utilized in the center of the city. The very center of the City is home to Dragonne Palace, the home of the Government and the Monarchy.
POINTS OF INTEREST
  • Dragonne Palace: The Royal Court of Illyria is known to gather in the Royal Palace to discuss matters of state and the conduct of the Aristocracy. The palace is home to the Monarchy and as such is a massive creation. It is actually a number of buildings eloquently formed together as a single structure. The palace is well defended by an automated defense system, the Palace Guard, and a small garrison of Illyria's Royal Army.
  • The Royal Military Academy of Azurine: The Royal Academy is the most prestigious military school on the planet and is known for producing top-line Officers. The campus of the institute takes up nearly ten percent of the City's landscape. The Royal Academy is host to a special series of military training games which are held yearly, these games are often viewed by the majority of the world through the Holonet. The academy is also host to an underground bunker system. This bunker system is capable of hosting a good deal of the city's population in the event of an attack.

HISTORICAL INFORMATION
Before The Age of Reformation began Azurine City was nothing more than the source of a sickness. It had housed corrupt Monarchs and nobles for so long it was beginning to look like a scar upon the lands. The City which sat upon a beautiful river was steeped too deep in industry and the profits of the planetary mining operation. A thick smog filled the skies and the City was almost eternally under a curfew to ensure the impoverished people remained pacified. The City was founded by Queen Azurine Vallard, the third and final High Queen of Illyria. When it was originally built it was intended to be a place of art and literature that the entire planet could enjoy, however the Queen's greedy son and successor destroyed that dream. In recent years the City is beginning to show the roots that were set down so many decades before. When The High Court was reformed by House Malvern their first task was to reverse the damage done to the Illyrian capital. The waters were cleaned, the skies were cleared, and the industry was moved further from the clean air of the capital. The people were given proper housing and power-efficient technology was brought in to mitigate the enormous financial drain the city was causing with it's outdated technology.

Hey,

I like the feel of this city! When you list Advanced Deflector Shield do you have a particular model in mind? Or is it, for all mechanical purposes, similar to a generic city-wide deflector shield? If there is a particular model you have in mind I'd suggest linking it, otherwise I'd be happy to approve the submission as it stands.

Looks like a good solid submission overall and a nice fleshing out of your planet.

The one thing that jumped out at me is the image credit, you need to link to the source page and not directly to the image. I've provided the correct image here if you'd please correct that we can move you on to approval.
