- Redundant Circuitry and Backup Power Cell: The B-2 Super Battle Droid is meant to be the superior of the B-1 Battledroid. Unlike the B-1 Battledroid this unit was built with a hearty resistance to EMP/ION technology. The interior of the droid is made of a complex wiring and circuitry that keeps the droid online, however there is also a backup power cell that will be activated if the main power cell is destroyed or deactivated via EMP technology. The secondary power cell is encased within a magnetically sealed Alusteel case that keeps It safe from EMP/ION weaponry.
- Detonation: Each Super Battle Droid has a small Thermal Detonator that can only be triggered one of two ways. Droid Commanders possess detonation codes and commands that can be used to trigger the detonation if they feel there is a strategic advantage to the detonation. Every droid can self-detonate their thermal detonator if they are at risk of being destroyed and believe they can eliminate their enemy with the blast, or if they are captured by enemy units.
- Reinforced Armor: The B-2 Battle Droid is secured in a durable Alusteel casing with a thin Frasium coating. The Alusteel is an incredibly durable metal that gives the droids protection from blasters, slugthrowers, ION weaponry, Rail Technology and even some blows from standard lightsabers.
- Firepower: The Super Battle Droid's are equipped with wrist mounted blaster cannons that produce sustained rapid-fire blasts. The blasts are extremely hard to block and dodge due to the speed and power behind the rounds.
- Sustained Flight: The jetpacks the droid's utilize allow them up to an hour of sustained flight, helping them travel over large distances and work well as armored scouts.
- Slow Advancing: The B-2 Battledroids are extremely large and incapable of moving at fast speeds, save for with their jetpacks. Like the B-1 Battledroids they have unagile bodies that do not maneuver well.
- Large Target: The large armored bodies of the B-2 Battledroids are very easy to pick out in most terrain and are large targets for blaster fire and ordinance.
An upgraded version of the B-1 Battledroid, the B-2 Super Battle Droids are built for sustained warfare and eliminating everything in their path. While the B-1 Battledroid's are considerably lengthy and rather frail at the joints, the B-2's solved this problem by encasing the droid in an Alusteel shell. This shell is designed to take considerable damage before it will ever give out or put the droid's power cell at risk.
Like the B-2 Battldroids from the Clone Wars, the Techno Unions upgraded version is equipped with wrist mounted blaster cannons. These blaster cannons are built with a rapid fire function as well as a small power cell with a vent that help the blaster from overheating as fast as previous models. Along with a wrist mounted rocket launcher the droid's are also equipped with a rocket pack that helps them travel the terrain that is before them.
Programmed as a marching unit to destroy everything in their way, the Super Battle Droid's are designed to crush the enemies of the Confederacy and any who use them. They are equipped with little defense for their processors and databanks, making those a target for their enemies to hack. However, each droid is embedded with a thermal detonator in the chassis that will be detonated if the droid is captured or surrounded. These Droids are not likely to be taken prisoner.
