If there was one thing JJ hated it, it was being idle. Idle hands made for trouble his master had always said to him. The task of shaping the young Corellian into a Jedi Knight had not been an easy task as the country boy had been easily distracted as a child. Some would say he still was, but the man he had grown into seemed to be less distractible than the young teenager version of himself. JJ simply hated sitting around. Even when he was growing up on Corellia his hands had to be working on something. Judah was good with his hands, a remark he made to his mother once which earned him a sharp and funny look. The comment was something he wasn't supposed to be saying out loud apparently. She had mentioned something about his fatehr's reputation before finally settling down to get married.
JJ had to do something.
His ship sat idle in the hangar bay, the engine holding. He had grabbed a task off the mission board and needed a partner. He messaged around the Silver Keep until he found someone that had agreed to meet him. That was why JJ was idle. He was waiting for the woman to show up. He didn't know much about her, only that she was available to go on the mission. This was either going to be a really good idea, or a bad one, and knowing JJ the chances he was going to get them both into trouble were pretty high.
The Knight was a jump first ask questions later type person. A guardian through and through the warrior in him was always anxious for action. That meant JJ was constantly saying or doing something that often found him getting into a scrap or running for his life. The humanitarian missions had not been good for his need for excitement and adventure in his life, but they had served their purpose to calm him.
Today they were going on a rescue mission. They were supposed to negotiate, but JJ already knew that wasn't going to happen. This was going to be a jailbreak plain and simple. He just hoped the woman coming along would agree to his plan.
