BAIT GRENADE
Intent: To create a very easily deployed bait for monster hunting/interesting executions.
PRODUCTION INFORMATION
Development Thread:
Model: Mk1
Affiliation: Private Market
Modularity: Yes
Material: Duraplast
TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS
Classification: Grenade
Size: Small
Weight: 500 Grams
Ammunition Type: Scent, Pheromones or Blood, Sonic Device
DESCRIPTION
Bait Bombs are a small, the same size as a Class-A Thermal Detonator, duraplast device able to be fitted with a pair of charges. Rather than conventional charges, the Bait Bomb uses different pheromones, blood, flesh, fur, and scents as attractants for a hunter's prey rather than explosives or other damaging weaponry. The attractant must be chosen and filled manually, allowing hunters to choose the type of bait for each hunt, as some animals are picky, sometimes animals have specific mating seasons and may not be attracted to the same pheromones at different times of the year, and other such scents.
The grenades are tossed and held aloft by a small repulsor, though they are able to be deployed on the ground, in trees, or underwater with ease. Once deployed they begin spraying the scents into the air over time, allowing the smell to guide in an animal for the hunter. Often times the grenade includes a sonic device which emits the sounds of an animal, be it a mating call, the sounds of a wounded prey, a pack predator calling for help, or the like. Often times this requires actual recordings of said animals, but those are not necessarily impossible to obtain. Because of the Repulsor, often the grenades are easily recovered after a hunt.

Strengths:
- Lure: The Bait Bomb can be loaded with scents, pheromones, and other animal attractants such as sounds of a mating call or a wounded prey's noise in order to lure a hunter's prey to them.
- Don't Get it On You: Seriously, when hunting a carnivore its like bathing in chum and jumping into a shark pen. Don't be stupid. Or, a fun way to execute someone. Pull the pins on a dozen grenades and let them go in a game preserve.
- Creature Preference: Some creatures are attracted to certain things and repelled by others. You have to properly fill the grenade in order for it to work properly. This requires some pre-planning in order to use the grenade effectively.
- Predator Attractant: Blood and prey scents will almost always attract a predator, not necessarily the one that you want.
