Description:
Amidst the civil war that tore apart the once great Primeval empire, met Ebon and what would eventually be called Balagoth's Sainthood trapped behind barricaded doors and nearly two hundred men. With a combined effort, they were able to force them into a retreat, and soon signed a pact of allegiance to one another. In the following months, after losing many men and gaining many more, the group eventually found their once bloody civil war to be nothing more than pointless squabble over a corpse that died long ago.
Through time and training, what was once a generalized military force became a dedicated fighting force under the strict iron fisted rule of Ebon, declaring him their Warlord despite the Primeval's passing and subsequent collapse. Their joint efforts and missions to rebuild their empire have come to be known amongst the crew as a the second surge, the Inquisition of Balagoth, and in naming their journey, they found their name in it's foundation.
These men have become veterans in their own right, not only surviving what brutal training regimes imposed on them by Ebon himself, but too by serving in multiple unnamed missions in serving their warlord. Currently, they wait for his command, choosing instead to follow in the footsteps of their great leader in silence while he guides them closer to the heaven they so wish to receive.
The soldiers of this brigade are armed with:
Primeval Armory -
- Primeval Legionnaire Battle Armour
- CB-02 Blaster Pistol
- IWS Rifles
- Various Makeshift and Salvaged Weapons and Armour
(+) - Highly Trained -
With Ebon at the helm of their ship, and in charge of their development, they have received high amounts of training in both hand to hand combat, and how to counter force sensitive troops. Doing almost daily regimes of fitness, and bi-daily skirmishes amongst themselves, forced them into a position of constant readiness and the physical peak of their fitness and endurance.
(+) - Zealotry -
Stuck in situations most would given up in, their power is found in their worship of Balagoth, the god of war amongst the primeval. Each battle they fight in his name, and any blood they spill bring them closer to the promised land that they look to bring to the galaxy. Fire is their spirit, and god is their keeper, so in that they push forward to forever bring endless glory to him.
(+) - Veterans -
Surviving the Civil War in the Primeval, with near constant battles with other extremely violent and unyielding opponents has created a hard and focused atmosphere amongst the company. Their habits are formed by war, their mannerisms are aggressive, and their very beings have been stained by gore and bloodshed unseen in the core planets. Each has a story to tell, and those that don't know their comrades stories like their own.
Weaknesses:
(-) - Underfunded -
With no direct means of revenue supporting the company, many go without eating, or resort to pillaging to simply feed themselves, leaving alone the general ideas of upkeep on their weapons, ammo, and various other maintenance items for a large group of men. Although getting by with the occasional job handed down by their master, none of the men receive their own pay, and their weapons themselves show the damage and wear a full war can commit to them.
(-) - Outgunned -
With their stockpile of weapons dwindled by loss of support from the Matriarch, these men are forced to scrounge for various outdated weaponry when they are unable to continue use of their previous weapons. It makes for a rag tag team of soldiers, but with their experience they make what use they can out of what they find.
