Appearance:
Balthazar is a Kiffar with black hair and a nicely trimmed beard. He wears a black and dark gray outfit that is commonly associated with Jedi attire. He can be easily identified by the red cawl qukuuf that overlaps his left eye.
Biography:
Balthazar can't remember much about his childhood before he was taken away to be trained as a Jedi. He trained under the care of Master Endymion who enjoy training his padawan in the ways of the force and lightsaber handling, he always made sure to push young Balthazar to his limits.
Through the years Balthazar was able to reach the rank of knight, both his master and he have gone to and completed missions when they were asked but at the age of 17, the mission that they went on would change their lives. The two arrive on Hapes their mission was to flush out the Sith and stop them, it took them months for them to find out that the Sith was a politician they had one target in mind. During this time Balthazar was instructed to become close to their target daughter keeping in mind that she could have been trained in the ways of the force.. at first, that's what it was a mission over time he begin to develop feelings towards Zetharra who was a year older than him. As his master and he continues to investigate Zetharra and her mother Balthazar begin to have doubts he knew that he was falling in love and despite the evidence that they found of his love being a Sith he didn't want to go through with their mission.. he could tell that his master could sense this in the force.
A few days later Balthazar and his master Endymion attack Zetharra and her mother the four of them put up quite a fight neither one of them wanting to let the other win, the fight lasted for what seemed to be hours until Endymion made a sacrificing strike stabbing his green lightsaber into Zetharra mother. Balthazar watched in horror as his master's head was cut off while Zetharra's mother fell to the floor letting out one last breath before she died. He look up seeing the Happen girl glaring up at him in rage she unleashed a volley of attacks. Managed to slice at the Kunzite side he let out a grunt of pain but before she could do anything else to finish him off he stretch out his hand and caught her with the force and toss her out the window. Falling down to the ground gasping from the combination of the wound, loss of his master, and love. Kunzite took a few moments to try and recompose himself he pick up his master lightsaber and left to find Zetharra. It didn't take him long to find the girl laying on the streets while it begin to rain he could sense that she was barely holding on to life, despite the anger that he felt towards the Happen girl he still loved her... he sight and place his hand on her chest and concentrated to heal her. Even though healing was a new skill for him he knew that what little training he had was enough to save the girl.. with his last show of mercy he was unaware of what continuance his action may have in the future.
Upon his return to the temple, he gave Endymion lightsaber to the other masters when asked if the Sith was taken care of he told them that it was thanks to his master. What he didn't tell them was that the daughter.. his love was still alive. A few days passed and he was promoted to Master he took on a padawan and train him as his master did with him. 14 years passed he never reviled his secret it was his to keep and every now and then he would think about her wondering if she was alright. During this time he found Twi`lek and eventually the two fell in love wanting to settle down he retired from his position and begin to start a family. Even though he still loved Zetharra he knew that it couldn't be. For a while, they were happy they had a child and life was great. But Balthazar's past came back to haunt him..
Suddenly waking up Balthazar could smell smoke.. a dense coving of smoke filled the room, he quickly woke his wife and got his child out of bed. They begin to try to make their way out of the building but the fire was so intense that it was difficult to make their way through it, he could sense that there was something here with them that was familiar to him but before he could figure it out he was suddenly attack hitting slamming his back on a burning wall. Looking up he could see a shadowy figure standing before him to the left of him he could see his wife hold on to their little girl before he could do anything the shadowy figure brought down burning debris blocking his way towards them. The two begin to fight for what seemed like hours the shadowy figure refused to let them get to his family, he felt a sharp pain at his side letting out a groan. The two continued fighting, the shadowy figure reviled herself, and a sudden realization of who he was fighting dawn him.. his love from 14 years ago Zetharra. He continue their fight within a few minutes the Sith pull down a support beam trapping Balthazar's wife and child within the flames he could hear them scream. Abandoning the battle he went to their aid. Zetharra took this opportunity to fling Balthazar across the room slamming him hard into a wall and knocking him out.
It was hours before he woke up... he could see that his home... was burned down to the grown. Without thinking he ran towards the mess and try to dig through it. What he found was the burnt corpse of his wife and child. Falling to his knees he let out a cry of pain and anger. For the next 10 years, he lived his life in exile believing that it was his fault for his family's death. Being out of touch with the galaxy, he kept up his training now after so many years something in the force called to him tempting him to come back to the world...
