- Highly Resistant, due to alchemy
- Provides the wearer with the ability to see in the dark
- Stygium helps to amplify the wearer's stealth abilities
- Outer edges are purposely sharp (inner are dulled, I like my fingers in tact tyvm)
- When not consciously used for stealth it's presence in the Force makes its wearer a dead giveaway to fellow Force Users due to the darkside aura
- Unique design makes it a distinguishing feature upon its wearer, making them easier to track if it's a frequent accessory
- Rendered ineffective in the presence of Force-bubbles/Ysalamiri/etc
- The alchemical effects would be outright destroyed if subjected to Force Light
With his natural inclination toward decrepit old ruins and tombs, Thesh realized he would either need to come up with something that would let him traverse those darkened passages a little easier, or announce his presence to potential inhabitants by bringing along a torch of some kind. Knowing the sorts of entities which lurk in such places, he opted for the former and spent many moons working to somewhat perfect a device which would allow him to see in the dark. It ultimately came in the form of a ring, alchemized and imbued with the Force. As usual he utilized one of his synthetic crystals to help boon the effects and act as a conduit for the Force, though this time he also procured a small slither of stygium. He encased both of these separately upon the band, keeping them safe within small chambers of alchemized mullinine.
Originally he had no intentions of adding the stygium to this particular project, but following the events of the Ossus Massacre and his disappearance from Sith Eternal space he decided it was prudent to hasten his usage of it in order to keep a low profile and remain off the radars of any Sith who might come looking for him. This duplicitous nature of the ring makes it a trickier creation than some of his others, barring perhaps the golem, and stands as a testament to his progress in the art. Thankfully only one aspect of the ring relies upon his proficiency in alchemy, as stygium stands proudly of its own accord.
