Banned List Update: Forcesabers

Happy New Year, Chaos!

I'd like to suggest a single amendment to the standing banned list. As of now, Forcesabers are included in the blanket ban against Rakatan technology. Now, I fully recognize and understand why the overwhelming majority of Rakatan technology was banned - but a Forcesaber is, at the end of the day, an alchemized lightsaber. As such, I'd like to suggest unbanning Forcesabers exclusively.

Visually speaking, the amendment would look like this:

Banned items:
  • Rakatan Technology (Forcesabers Excluded)
That's it. What do you think?

I mentioned this in another thread. I seem to recall someone mentioning that the Je'daii were allowed their Forcesaber-esque weapon. The Wikia says that the Je'daii actually outright constructed their own Forcesabers, though I must admit that I hold the belief that they probably didn't make them Dark Side weapons.

Also, the Soulsaber. It is a weapon that is allowed. It is simply a super Forcesaber, more powerful and more capable in every way.

I'd love for there to be a Forcesaber availability on the board. I do, however, think that Forcesabers might need to be limited. They are more powerful than normal lightsabers, and you don't want a million people running around with them. By this, I mean that they need to be more limited than the usual alchemized weapon is. Not too much - it shouldn't be impossible or ridiculous to acquire a Forcesaber - but, yeah, as I see it they need a bit more oomph added to them in their creation process.

Disney's Princess
Sure

Also. Soulsabers are a Force Nexus Item and require a Restricted Materials Mission to pass in the Factory.

This sounds like common sense- a direction the Factory has been moving to for a while now. So I support this.

Its neat flavor. Long long ago I wanted to try for one, but the ban had others telling me no. There is a benefit however. Its not mechanical so it can't really be shorted out. On the other side if the force is eleminated there goes the saber.
