STRENGTHS & WEAKNESSES
To Rule ~ Hereditary members of the Bao Dynasty are born into a life of hardship, their family members raising them to be naturally born leaders. Whether it's strategy or tactics, members of the Bao Dynasty are typically experts, and feel no purpose in following - except following the Head of Bao Dynasty.
Family Don't End In Blood ~ The Bao Dynasty has this unfortunate trait where they can only birth females. Because of this, they are known to take in and adopt other children. While mainly from other Variese, they are known to adopt a variety of species. During this, a special bond is made; anyone adopted into the Bao Dynasty is part of Bao Dynasty. They are treated no different than flesh and blood.
Master of the Blade and Forge ~ Because of the constant persecution of the Bao family, all members are trained, alongside becoming leaders, in the professions of blade wielding and crafting. They practice it as a sort of medium, so every member has a profession that can help feed them and their families. It was originally started as a means to defend oneself, more so, against the never ending persecution. It has become part of their sense of purpose, as it has for Quayan.
Free Flowing ~ Quayan, as all members of her family, possesses the ability to levitate and fly, without wings. It is unknown how they can truly fly, but it was because of this innate ability that they were first criticized as Inuari.
Tough Skin ~ Quayan possesses very tough skin, and can not simply be cut by a sharp weapon, although she can still be stabbed with enough force, and take internal injuries, such as bruises. This has also become a trait of members within the Bao Dynasty, hereditary or not, to be tough in conversation, as in, to be able to take criticism and not be easily threatened.

Wandering Exile ~ Because Quayan had lost her family, she is the equivalent to a Ronin. However, it is far much worse. Her loyalty was strictly to her family, and now she has no people. She is incapable of having loyalty to any other individual or organization. She can not be forced or coerced into supporting one or another, which means she's more liable to take her own life than to serve another.
Drug & Alcohol Tolerance ~ Seemingly a natural trait for hereditary members of the Bao Dynasty, Quayan has nearly no tolerance for drugs and alcohol. Allergic to Bacta and other similar treatments and drugs, always suffering from side affects. Alcohol is an exceptional problem, as when it is ingested, it takes very little for her to become severely and dangerously intoxicated, to the point where she could potentially at any time have alcohol poisoning.
Hunted ~ Quayan witnessed the massacre of her entire family at the hands of zealot Variese, and because of that, she is afraid she will always be hunted down. This means she is extremely distant to others, who may not even be Variese. She is cautious, blunt, and cruel. She avoids socializing at all costs, and treats everyone as hostile.
Incompatibility ~ Quayan reacts quite differently to changes in certain atmospheres, which includes gasses, breathable types, gravity, and sometimes even momentum. Seemingly a trait of hereditary members of Bao Dynasty, they all suffer from exaggerated affects when encountering quick and sometimes even slow changes. Gaseous clouds cause her to choke more frequently and debilitate her more quickly, changes in gravity or momentum can cause her body to expel anything in her stomach and do it constantly (dry heaving), as these are just a couple examples.
BIOGRAPHY
_Bao Quayan was born to an outcast family among the species of Variese, but her family had long been cursed. They were forced to live in the jungles among the Narkun; a sub-race of Variese that were more considered to be uncivilized and sometimes tribal. This gave the Bao Dynasty the nickname of the Narkun Inuari, or the "Jungle Demons." Quayan lived for a very long time, studying her peoples traditions and learning the culture and the language as she grew, understanding why she and her people secluded themselves away from the others. She practiced the way of the sword, wishing to do her family proud, with the very sword she was meant to craft herself. A tradition within the Bao Dynasty, where one must craft their own belongings. There was no sense of barter or currency, as they were outcasted among the other groups of the planet. Bao Dynastians were able to levitate, as was Quayan. They also had tough skin, as did she, but the elders of their dynasty were even said to resist lightsabers. To this day, neither Quayan nor her people understood their alien-like abilities, but it didn't matter. To other Variese, Bao Dynasty was considered to be demons, and were exiled to the jungles. Eventually, the family would always have a troublemaker or two, as do all families. These troublemakers would cause havoc with other tribes or other Variese, because they had abilities others could not possess. These abilities gave a sense of power, though typically only to non-hereditary members. This sense of power got them in trouble, but it did far worse to the Bao Dynasty than anyone could ever imagine.
_Quayan witnessed the massacre of her family, due to the accident of one member that caused the death of a Variese. Too late to truly help the defense of her people against a mob of zealot Variese, Quayan had entered the battle towards the end while out doing her traditions. During the ensuing battle, Quayan was struck so hard, it caused her to black out. When it was seen that the battle was lost beyond all attempts, those who remained evacuated. Knowing they would never be allowed to live on their planet any longer, they ran. One member even saving Quayan as she laid motionless, rescuing her from certain fate. The tragedy did more to her than she could fathom, as when she woke up, she found herself missing her memories. With very little remaining of who she was, she had to decide her new future. The member who had saved her did all they could to tell her of what had happened and who she was, but ultimately, she grew to hate her past. Eventually, her savior past away, and now Quayan had to decide her new fate in the great galaxy beyond her simple home.
