Behemoths: The Gunjacked beasts are enormous and will dwarf all warriors but Cragmoloids on the battlefield. They are ridiculously strong and can pulverize even armored soldiers with a single hammer blow. - Berserk: The Gunjacked wear harnesses that can be activated by their handlers to pump them full of gunjack, or redbore spice. The already large creatures were difficult to take down in the first place. Giving them pain-reducing drugs and durasteel breastplates and helmets makes them extremely hard to kill outright, most will continue to fight even after sustaining mortal wounds. However, once they fly into the spice-induced rage, they are uncontrollable and will try to crush everything in sight, which can include each other.
- Semi-sentient: They ain't all that bright. Consequently, the gargantuans only carry melee weapons. If faced with a highly mobile and ranged enemy, they will most likely be harried until the drug wears off and then shot dead.
- Handlers: If the handlers are killed or put out of action, then the gargantuans become substantially less compliant and will only follow the most basic of directions.
DESCRIPTION
After getting raided by a bunch of Mandalorians, Gorba decided he needed something with a little more "oomph" than a few slave soldiers in padded armor. The result was the Gunjack Gargantuans. Not exactly what he ordered, but R&D was a little light. Genius ideas generally also had a high price tag attached. One Gorba could not afford at the moment. Much as he found accepting the low-budget option galling, he couldn't help but be a little gleeful when watching the exhibition fights on Groth. The Gunjacked Gargantuans consist of Mantellian Savrips, Kintan Striders, and Kintan Crushers. They're strapped with durasteel armor, given some melee weapons, and hooked up with harnesses that can be remotely triggered to inject spice into their bloodstream.
