[*]Description: The series of racing circuits are, by their very nature, highly variable. The sail barges from which viewers can watch the action, however, are not. These barges once belonged to Gorba's father and a whole fleet of them would accompany the Hutt wherever he went. Gorba, not nearly as corpulent as his hundreds-of-years old father had been, did not require a sail barge in order to get around. And though he is loath to be rid of such decadence for the sake of cutting costs, he believes the measure will pay off in the long run. Each sail barge has been refitted to provide the optimal viewing experience. The open-air deck has drink tables, a small bar, and an array of macro-binocular stations to zoom in on the action. The two lower decks feature a sabacc room, a dining area, and another bar. The walls of the lower decks have been fitted with massive view-screens to display the races in pristine high-definition glory.

Night Run - Barab 1
One of the more dangerous races in the Bareesh Grand Prix, the Night Run occurs shockingly enough at night on Barab 1. The Night Run is a podracers only track. Viewers often complain about difficulty seeing the racers through Barab's horrific cataclysmal downpour, but they keep returning to watch from the safety of the sail barge due to the brutality of the track. Mortality rates among the racers are obscene.
Graveyard Circuit - Boz Pity
Some call it desecration. Gorba calls it divestment. After bribing obtaining a license from the Gargantelle Preservation Society, Bareesh established a circuit that runs through the "boneyard." The track features a white-knuckle, breath-holding trip through narrow gaps between Gargantelle bones and old ruins. The circuit hosts both swoop bike races and pod races.
Caldera Circuit - Kintan
The Kintan Circuit is a pod-racers only track due to the oppressive heat from the lava in some of the stretches that swoop bikers would not be able to survive. The circuit spans the Burning Moon Range and is one of the only tracks that allows contestants to equip their podracers with any sort of shielding device. These heat shields are handed out by the Kajidic just prior to the race's start to ensure no tampering. They will hold up to the immense heat of the bubbling magma as the racers skim across the volcanic calderas, but not for very long. They certainly wouldn't hold up if another racer were to, say, slam into them and drive the racer into the pool of lava.
Smuggler's Classic - Nar Shaddaa
Of all the race tracks, Gorba knew the one on Nar Shaddaa would be the most expensive to host simply due to insurance costs. Consequently, it only hosts a pod race once a year and a large section of the track is in the Old Duros Sector, which is still rampant with exotic predators. Swoop bike races are more common and have their start in the floating city of New Vertica and feature a terrifying dive to the planet's surface, weaving in and out of traffic.
Rorak Run - Rorak 4
The track is fairly standard, varying only between open stretches and tight urban turns. It features both podracer events and swoop bike races.
Sleheyron Circuit - Sleheyron
Held in an enormous defunct refinery, the Sleheyron circuit is for swoop bikers only.
HISTORICAL INFORMATION
Still trying to cut costs and maximize revenue for the Bareesh, Gorba looked for enterprises with low startup costs. After enviously eyeing the lucrative circuits on Malastare and Tatooine, Gorba figured it would not do well to incur the wrath of the other kajidics by attempting to edge into their territory. Instead, the young Hutt began tracing weaving lines on maps and calling them "tracks." Gorba was extremely pleased with himself. Rather than scrapping his father's sail barge fleet due to their ludicrous operating costs he instead set them up as viewing platforms for the new racing circuits.
It took some credits to advertise and some more to pay off the necessary people for licensing and insurance, but in the end Gorba established a new and somewhat popular series of circuits; then he assigned the day-to-day upkeep to local street gangs, took the Nexu's share of the profits, and came away with what every Hutt wants: a low-maintenance money machine.
